Background:
Enshi Gibil comes from a checkered family. His father was a thief in Osirion for many years before being caught stealing by a priestess of Sarenrae. The priestess brought Enshi's father to the temple, and fed him a meal. The next day, Enshi's father returned. He returned every day for the next week before giving up his previous life and taking vows.
Over the next several years, Enshi's father trained to be one of Sarenrae's strongest paladins. He drove himself to be better than all others. After achieving some small amount of notoriety as a knight, he married a merchant's daughter. She brought a great deal of wealth with her to the marriage, and combined with her husband's abilities, they managed to live well even after tithing generously to the church. Several years later, Enshi was born. His father was proud to have a son, and spent lavishly to make sure his son would have the kind of life that he hadn't enjoyed. However, that all ended when his wife died. Enshi's father reacted to his wife's death by making sure every waking moment his son was training to be an even better paladin than he had been. Enshi trained with scimitar and armor almost as soon as he could walk. Much to his father's regret, Enshi never took to the life of a paladin. He did show a great deal of ability as a priest and a facility with the healing powers of the Dawnflower, but it was never good enough for his father. Enshi grew to crave as little as a smile or a kind word from his father, and showed a similar need in his studies at the temple. His father craved another warrior of the light, but Enshi felt more comfortable in the warm embrace of Sarenrae's magics, and in being a conduit for her healing hands. A year before Enshi reached his majority, his father decided it was time to take the next step in their devotions. He moved the entire household from Sothis to Kenabres, and he joined the Mendevian Crusade, where he has since been named Third Flame of the Dawn. Enshi continued his studies at the temple, and has put his abilities as a healer to good use on the soldiers who fought the demons of the Worldwound. He never shied away from his duties, always striving to ease even the smallest hurts so that he would know he had done something well. Now that he has reached his majority, Enshi feels it is his duty to follow his father and join the Crusade. His father, overjoyed that his son is at last following at least partly in his footsteps, made sure that his son had the best gear that can be purchased, even going so far as to order custom-made armor for Enshi based on Tian designs one of his fellow Crusaders favored. Appearance:
Enshi Gibil is a tall, spare Keleshite man, although his height is somewhat masked by a tendency to shrink into himself. When working or training, his body fills out and his size is readily apparent. His skin is the deep tan that comes from many years spent in the desert. His hair is black and comes down to a widow's peak, and he wears it loose to the shoulders. His eyes are a striking gold color, more intense than that of his kin, and they have a luminescent quality to them. His face is strong, with a solid jawline and a long, straight nose. His cheekbones are high, and his tendency to eat just barely enough means his frame is just this side of being gaunt.
Enshi's garb of choice is his working gear, with his red armor worn under flowing white robes. He generally forgoes the headscarf as he finds it too restrictive. He wears his scimitar on his right hip, being left handed, and his holy symbol on a chain around his neck. Vital Statistics:
