About Elsdyn FedwickGeneral Description
He wears banded armor, well kept but obviously used. Hovering (yes, not attached) over his shoulders are alabaster white metal sheeted plates of armored pauldrons with midnight blue magical etchings. A light blue tabard with a single sword held upright by a female hand covers the banded mail. A similar feature is on his shield which also has the upper right striped off at an angle in gold with additional heraldry located there. Likewise the upper left is also striped off at an angle in silver with a different heraldry design from the rest. A heavy leather belt, riveted with metal plates carved with dwarven runes holds the tabard down. Attached by sheath on the left is a longsword while a heavy mace is hooked on the right. Both show signs of excellent craftsmenship. A dagger, also of fine quality lies just to the left of center near parallel with the belt, a band of leather snapped over its hilt holding it firmly in place. Heraldic Information
Spoiler:
For those that know, the light blue w/the female hand bearing up a sword is the symbol for a squire from Brittany (all squires use this symbol). The area seperated by the golden stripe marks his lineage (in this case its first son of Sir Fedwick). The silver seperation shows the heraldry of who he is squired too (for Elsdyn its Sir Pendelton). Sir Fedwick's full title is Count-Knight, Lord of Gettyforth Pass. Sir Pendelton's full title is Count-Knight, Lord of Dunmore Pass. General Personality
Spoiler:
Elsdyn is simply enough, a nice guy. He is positive, willing to pause to aid others and generally encouraging. He has a very strong believe system and is not daunted by others opinions of it.
He has seen the horrors of war and takes no pleasure in killing another. However, his sense of justice and his code is strong enough that he will not allow others to make use of his dislike and if no other choice is present will make full use of his abilities to defeat an opponent. He recognizes that such necessity exists in this world regardless of his personal feelings. Nor will he let such things overcome his natural tendency to be positive or make him jaded. Some History
Spoiler:
Elsdyn was born to Count-Knight Gludoise Edwin Fedwick and Lady Esmerellda Anne Pendleton Fedwick on a prestigious portent. A blessed child he carries with him the mark of the Lady, a rare and prestigious sign of great destiny. His family spared no effort in raising him and at the age of 6 he was paged to his uncles family. Spending 4 years working through the various task, he quickly showed signs of his unusual nature and excelled where others would fail. At age 10 he was squired to his uncle Sir Pendleton and shortly there after left on the crusade to quell the uprising in the allied terriroties of Summeria. He quickly made a name for himself as his determination, kindness, quick thinking and natural skill placed him high in the views of the knights as well as the other squires he served with.
As the crusade came to a close another call went out for aid, this time from the Elven King and again the knights sallied forth to their ally. A new war, or perhaps the same one in different guise took shape. The horrors of the old pailed in comparison and the young squires duties ever increased. Yet never did his smile fade nor did he turn away from the horror and though he remained in the backlines as a squire should, his effort in the war was none the less felt by the knights of the front lines. Such was the aura about him. After 8 years it was finally determined the knights led by Sir Pendleton would return home. It appeared to be merely a matter of formality on his return to recieve his knighthood, as many of the knights already treated him as a peer and his skills as well as his humane actions did win many hearts. However, destiny had other plans...
