This game had ended in the archived list so I didn't notice. Hi Godfrey. The game was wonderful, a lot of fun, great writing, many memories.

Ella nods and then starts to quietly advance on the north door, listening before opening.
"North then?" the big woman suggests/asks. Assuming the others will know why she is suggesting leaving the snorer and quiet mouse alive at the moment.
"I don't think any of this would fit me." Ella mutters with disdain. She'll stand next to the door, listening.
"And the perfect place to apply poison." Ella agrees quietly. Looking at Coloua's foot she suggests letting Ileosa listen first. Having noticed the small woman is always listening.
Very much so! Time to go on a rampage?
"We can go in at night to kill the priests. Start a fire as well to cover their deaths, if possible. Ileosa can then do the posioned wine but with the commander to offer condolences tomorrow." Ella offers as an alternative, giving both schemers their plan.
"We are better together." Ella says simply, placing her vote on the table as she finishes stabbing her food.
Ella looks to the drow, who returns a bored shrug, and then back to Ileosa. "Triss and I should have something for you whenever you are ready." she picks at her food a little, thinking "Once the head priest is done or at least started, setting the rookery on fire would be a good next step. If we can get in and out without being noticed, they'll have a hard to telling the reason why it started. Delaying them knowing they are under attack."
Ella agrees but adds, "Posion." describing in more detail than necessary what the two alchemists have come up with to poison the most possible. The main point is to use a slow-acting one with a random offset that would weaken and confound them... "It would be better if the priests were gone before symptoms began."
Triss and Ella come in exuding exuberance. Ella, who is normally stoic to say the least, chatters endlessly with the drow about mushrooms and extracts as they enter and sit. It isn't until that point that Ella smells the air, stopping her conversation and looks to her little companion.
Ella settles across the table from Triss. In their own rooms, they can pass on the illusions, so the pale changing with the violet and cherry eyes stares at the dusky-skinned drow with a perpetual smirk. They discussed the forest, they discussed the deaths, and now they discussed poisons. "King's Sleep?" Ella suggests only to get a laugh "The ingredients are expensive and the process is insanity, only a..." Ella frowned, making the other woman stop and add "A good idea though, poison them early and allow the mess to settle before the attack....hmmm Juvebloom?" "The youth poison?" Ella grunted, shaking her head. "Yes you are right, the fact the entire guard looked ten years younger might tip people off" They went back and forth like that over an hour. Eating and drinking, mentioning and suggesting until they both hit on "Draughtcap fungus!"
Ella nods, scratching her temple with a claw as she does when thinking at times "Random offset, hard to pin down, causes dehydration, so could poison a cask or two of the emergency barrels." "Centipede poison in those, blends well with stale drink." Triss interrupts. The two collude and plan. Deciding as long as they are left to their own devices they'll work on a foul poisoning for the local heroes.
Ella nods, not needing to add anything due to the abundance of the other's words. Back at the town, her charges doing their own thing so Ella orders a bath, a scalding one, ordering the serving girls out with a glare and a simple Go. She'll bar the door, strip her armor, sodden quilting, and lastly her iron crown, making the half-orc Ella become her own true form for the first time in many days.
Her sigh is heaven, or hell, depending on your preference. Drifting into the gushing warmth of contentment. But a meow makes her crack open an eye to look at her cat and the MONKEY in the room. Sitting up out of the water, soapy water slushing and dripping, she looks about but no drow, just her Monkey, what was its name??? Beebo? Todo? "Tell your master, I'll let her know all the details of our trip. But NOT until I am done." she'd chuck a bar of soap at the creature but that would get Ash wet and she'd never hear a second of peace again from the feline. The monkey darts away on his own anyway, and Ella relaxes sliding back into the delightfully hellish warmth.
"We should spend some time seeing if there is anything else we can do before our big push."
Ella will calm down, slowly, heaving shoulders finally resting. Coloua has a toy, Ileosa and Godfrey are fine, so the giantess will look around, counting bodies to horses to make sure there are none hiding.
Ella drops her spear, clearly disappointed in its inability to kill a simple man. It is clear because she growls like a hungry bear.
A swipe across the man's face, a hack into his soft gut, blood gushing all over, the good things in life.
Ella's calm killing has not eased her need to kill at all, so she charges the nearest guard as soon as she sees him.
Ella nods in agreement, pulling her spear out of the man, then starts moving toward the next one.
Ella moves slow and steady in the night. Her skin shifting between the blacks and blues of the shadows with ease. Softly moving through the sleeping men, slipping past the fabric of the captain's tent, hovering over her prey, she waits, watching him for movements or any tensing. One heartbeat, two heartbeats... he is relatively handsome she notes, wide-shouldered, clean cut... three heartbeats... he turns his head to his right, just a normal movement, some dream, showing her his throat... then she slams her spear into him.
Ella nods to the nobleman. She drinks her potions and slips into the dark night.
Ella's cat meows, but Ella shakes her head. Letting the other familiar go instead. The large woman looks at Ileosa "Attack while they sleep if Coloua can find the leader I could go straight for him?"
Ella glowers at the kobold, letting out a little growl to let the little one know, he doesn't get to include even mild irritants to Ileosa. "Lead us there" she insists.
Ella nods, even grunts, in agreement. "How far?"
"We will need to have words with your underling when this is over" Ella growls in annoyance to Godfrey, then gets off her horse to looking about for more tracks.
Ella and her cat consider going to make sure the little one would be safe, but she trusts that whatever is in the cave is less dangerous than Coloua. So she works on getting a decent camp, without any camping supplies.
Ella is tired of the woods as much as the rest of them.
"Unless we think the kobold is trying to elude us, I'd suggest, keep following him." looking over her companions "Can we push on or do any of you need a rest?"
"We can follow at a distance." Ella suggests "We don't know how far it is" not wanting Coloua too far from help if she needs it.
Ella crouches down on each one of the marks, gives each a sniff, turns and tells them...
Ella arches an eyebrow, looking over to Godfrey for an idea as well.
Ella makes a thank you sound to the little one when even more of the puckered red flesh smooths away. And that was the last pleasant part of the day. "What is wrong with it?" Ella asks as the tracks starts going way off course, looking at the others to see if they have any idea.
Ella is full, but gross. While she is used to surviving where she can, and is no stranger to dried blood caking one's clothes, too long in the comfort of the Villa has softened her to bathes. She spend a bit of time in the nearest creek to peel off her armor and clothes, for a decent scrubbing of herself at least. And a minor decaking. Then she is ready to head out.
Ella admits, begrudgingly, that the pork after Coloua's intervention is good. So she sits in full armor and eats a lot of it.
Coloua looks at what Ella was doing in horror. "What? NO... I mean okay, but this... and this... No not that... why would you even think... no go away... now please." Coloua is not being herself at all really. But does make a lovely pork roast.
Ella shakes her head. "It might not be too different than alchemy... I can try" Unless someone suggests otherwise she'll attempt it.
Ella thanks Coloua. The holes in her gut so much better. "I don't think I can sleep anymore. I can take watch" she tells the others as she gets her armor back on.
"I'm good" the large woman says, holding in her guts.
Ella stands with shoulders heaving over the boar, pushing back the rage now that enemies were dead. As sense came back, she realized her had two big jagged holes in her stomach. It hurt, badly. So she sat down, pressing her hands on the wounds to stem the flow. Silently she wished she had managed to learn that formula for healing potions.
As tusks goring her belly, the large woman bellows in pain. She slams her fists down on the beast in response, tearing as they go.
Ella paid too much attention to the one gorging Ileosa and didn't notice the ton of pig charging her until it was too late. Staggering back she reaches under the pig tryingto gut the thing with her claws, while fuming in rage.
Very sorry to hear that sir. I hope things get better as soon as they possibly can. We'll be here when you get back.
Ella's eyes pop open with the orders to wake mixed with grunting pigs. Disturbing images smash into the woman's mind, swiftly shaken away as blood flies. Standing as quickly as possible, the unarmored warrior gets a quick understanding of the situation and pours her sudden hate into the pig gutting her friend.
Concentrating on staying on this creature, that had plenty of other thoughts than going where Ella wanted, is taking all of the giant woman's concentration. Claw sighs are very secondary.
Ella moves foward in the sprawling wood, eyes keening trying to watch for the kobold's marks, as well as dangers. Raising her claw, she stops and points to another scratched into a tree. At least they were not lost yet.
"Ropes." Ella suggests, thinking between trees, spooking the riders somehow and then... "No, won't work, since we don't know the terrain. I agree attacking them while they are asleep is best. Sneak in and scatter the horses, then attack."
"As I've said before, all of this is not my area, so point me in a direction or I might just spend all day reading until you need me." Ella says to their diplomats, as she scopes up more fried potatoes and savors their salty crispiness.
"I can go with you." Ella offers "In case you run into locks."
"More like alchemist's fire, without the nice smell." Ella comments, finishing the last of her eggs, then pushing back the plate.
