Seems there is no place for a healer in these tables :(

An interesting proposition Farod, I think the two being selected having the same experiences since the event causing the deaths of the folks from Roslar’s Coffer is a good idea.

I'm all for that, too. I have left the details of the last part of my backstory open for any such adjustments.

need to do equipment, almost forgot it's not max money.
starting gold: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10x10=100gp

I do not see my players making this decision quickly irl time.

How so? Sounds like you have no faith in your players? :)

You're probably saying that they will weigh their options carefully and take the necessary time.

I briefly considered reading up in your gameplay thread. But I quickly gave up on it, as you're at an impressive 3300 posts, that's 4.7/day. I feel sorry for you for loosing your players and your momentum.

I would like to submit Elduin here. He's currently level 1, but adjusting to 4 will be done today or tomorrow.
He's a Wizard focusing on support spells and a Healer, which this AP drastically needs.

short update: little one is all well and healthy, but very demanding. I won't visit anything gaming-related for another few weeks.

We're expecting our son today or tomorrow. I'll be somewhereelse with my thoughts for the next couple days. Please skip or bot me.

"Wow. That was close. I think I've seen Pharasma's portal." Elduin checks his body for any wounds and looked surprised as he did not find anything.

"Well, let's go on then, I guess. Maybe someone else takes the leed this time..."

stabilize: 1d20 + 1 - 7 ⇒ (14) + 1 - 7 = 8 -8 hp

Stochelo forced some rejuvinating juice down Elduin's throat and the bleeding seems to stop, but he's still unconcious.

-5 hp

Well, I added one wand charge to my hp after the golem fight. That brought me back up to 25. I thought that should be enough :D

Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Elduin succumbs the engulfing mass as his allies see his last breath leave his body.

stablilize: 1d20 + 1 - 6 ⇒ (7) + 1 - 6 = 2

He looses more blood...

"I'll poke it with an arrow. Let's see what it is."
Elduin tries to decern an access point among the debris and shoots an arrow.
attack vs flat-footed: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 1 + 1 = 18
piercing damage, sneak attack: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 + (5) = 14

Elduin observes the room carefully, then begins walking along the left wall.

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16

"The thick layer of dust tells me, we're in the wrong place. Nobody's been here for a long time. The smashed glass might provide some sort of crude alert system, though?"
Nevertheless, it seems Elduin was keen to get a quick look around the dome walls.

"Well, I'm pretty sure we can make a fire at some point. All we really need is some dry wood. Let's go on then. Unless we actually want to camp aorund a fire down here." Elduin shoves the party to proceed to the next door.

"Let me talk to it. Animals are kinda my thing. And it is close to an animal, isn't it?" While talking to the group, Elduin also cast some spell on him, making his voice sound a little less rough. Casting Eagle's Splendor

"Please, let us dicuss this matter. We mean you no harm, if you promise us to provide safe passage through your little realm here. Maybe we can be useful to each other even."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

"Too bad, I was hoping to leave at least one innocent creature alive." Elduin agrees in a sad tone.

"I don't like the weird feeling of your healing spell, but it does close the wounds." Elduin clearly needs at least one charge.

"That's a good one. Well done, Daxy"

"Yes, Dax. This thing is mostly wood. You could easily set it on fire." Elduin reloads and releases two more arrows.

attack, Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 23
piercing damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 11
attack, Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 23
piercing damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 8

"I'm out of fire, too" Elduin studies the target and releases an arrow.
attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 1 + 1 = 26
piercing damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 9

"Are we sure these automations don't just wake up, even if there is no magic to be detected?" Elduin carefully watches the slumped-over constructs.

Elduin will move to the door as well and listens carefully together with Silas.

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26

"Yes, Gru..aeh Kethos is right. By the way, this little birdy here is my familiar. So I know a thing or two about your kind. He's also my best friend and knows so much, it's incredible. Just stay in the back with him, while we clear the area."

Elduin raises an eyebrow at Silas' words, but quickly nods.

Ref: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
After Stochelo explains the origins of this creature, Elduin also addresses the Mephit. "We mean you no harm, if you don't either."

I ready to shoot, if needed. But since I initiated, I shouldn't have another action anyways

Elduin listens to Silas, while also searching the room from outside with his Elven eyes. "I know, I just meant...ahm...eh..you know." Then he suddenly stopps studdering and draws an arrow, aiming at something he spotted.

study target
"You see that wing under the barrel?"

Once everyone is ready, Elduin shoots the barrel.

"It seems to be just a storage room. With nothing attacking us, maybe we should take it as a win and close the door without more wounds than before."

Elduin stands in the back with his bow rady to release an arrow, should the sobbing be hostile.

As in the rooms before, Elduin seems nervous and anxious to get going. "We need to find the end of this circus."

Elduin joins Silas in checking the chest for traps. If none are found, he'll open it.

Elduin studies the creeper thoroughly and shoots an aimed arrow.
attack, study: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 1 + 1 = 18
piercing damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 6

DR apllies, unfortunately. Silas and Clayton left to finish the round.

np. the problem is not the DR, but the rolling a 1 on your damge die :)

concentration DC 10+8+2=20: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
"Damn it. I lost it" as Elduin shouts angrily. I told them to take this zombie first. Nice teamwork, he thought in his agitation.

Instead of his spell, Elduin returns to more simple solutions. He steps back and draws his bow, readies an arrow and shoots the zombie point blank.

attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 1 = 26
piercing damage: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4

To be honest, I'm kinda loosing interest in this game. It's been 9 days since the first round of combat started and the enemy hasn't even acted yet.

Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
"Everything in here seems very foreign to me..." Elduin notices, while observing the strange plants.

"Shield me, while I summon..." Elduin asks his allies, after getting out a small dead spider from his pouch.
full round action, beginning to cast summon nature's ally II

"I don't hear anything behind these doors. Let's move on fast."
Elduin opens the door leading south.

"Push on. Don't waste time."

Elduin stands silent and listens to their surroundings. With his agle eyes he watches Grumbles get ready for a fight and he whispers to him. "You got more of these?" He was clearly referring to the cold-iron arrows.

"By now I regret never having learned the Fey tongue, despit having grown up in the forest" Elduin answers with a smile.

"Either that, or we just let it be.", he responds to Silas.

"Let's go!" Elduin whispers.

"Not really. It takes a minute to get acustomed to, but then it's fine. I'll see how far this stretches and will secure the other side."

With weird movements Elduin walks or sails through the gravity trap until it eventually ends. He listens carefully and then silently sets down. If the rope has come that far, too, he'll look for a place to attach it to.

dex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

it's because I'm a Half-elf, isn't it? I knew it...

"Oh. A..." Elduin startles, but immediately remembers silences himself to not announce their presence to everyone at the end of the corridor.
"Must be some kind of trap or saftey mechanism", he whispers to the others while upside down in the air.
He looks at Fowyn and thinks about getting a lift, but soon realizes that the tiny bird, who seems much more comfortable, is probably not strong enough. While trying to bring his head up again, he looks at the grinning faces of his allies and whispers again. "Hand me some rope and then give me a push."

Elduin will move to the open door, but listens carefully at every closed door he passes. He's only interested in the open door as this signals potential threats or tracks.

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21

"Please, let's just go on. This place is creepy." Elduin explains and tries to open the left door. And the right door, if the left doesn't open.

"That is a strange place for sure." Just like Clayton, Elduin felt irritated. He moved quickly through the room and stopped at doors, investigating them.

The party moves on. Elduin readys his bow again.
