Elarinya will try a shot.
It's a fair shot, but Elarinya's skill is with the spear.
Elarinya will engage two of them, and attempt to strike both, spear lashing out quick as a striking serpent. Before she settles into melee range, she grabs a burning branch and flings it at her enemies. While it would have done little damage, it is only natural for one to flinch when fire is headed towards your face!
LM, can we make out the shapes below? Perhaps a Search roll?
Elarinya rushes up, and, seeing enemies, levels her spear. Accustomed to hours in the smithy, and young by the reckoning of the Eldar and full of her power, the flames do not bother her as they do others. She finds gaps in the conflagration to dart through, making her approach all but impossible to see.
Elarinya, feeling something swell within her, would break into a run, hearing that there are enemies near Combe. Athletics, perhaps?
Elarinya readies her spear, face suddenly grim.
She moves to follow Morwenn.
Elarinya checks her gear, ensuring that she is ready to travel. The Elf-maid casts a look at Tilly.
Elarinya turns over to Primrose and the man she is with, waving to get their attention. "Your pardon? Mistress Hobbit? I apologize, I do not know your name, but my friend Tilly seems to know you. Would you and your friend like to join us?" When the barman comes around, Tilly will order a glass of wine.
Elarinya smiles when she hears Morwenn begin to sing. She recognizes the tune, though she does not join in, preferring her more intimate conversation with Tilly. "Worry not overmuch; I'm rather used to stares of curiosity outside the bounds of Imladris. Even those that may have happened across one of my Woodland kin are generally...let us say surprised to see a creature like myself. I do not have any set amount of time to be in town; the sad fact is that little of note happens in Rivendell. Lord Elrond receives reports, to be sure, but I am not one of those that has his confidence, at least not yet. There are stories to collect, and it is time for me to find them!" At Tilly's question, Elarinya's eyebrow rose.
When the Man of Minas Tirith makes his way to over to their table, and speaks in a tongue familiar to Elarinya, the Scholar laughs with delight, a bright, bubbling laugh that seems to fill the air for a moment. She answers Berethor in kind.
Sindarin:
"This is a pleasure unlooked for! I am Elarinya, and you are welcome to join us. I fear my friend does not speak this tongue as we do, so let us switch to Common." Switching to the Common tongue, Elarinya will speak.
Should be all updated. @Morwenn, I'm good with having Elarinya know her. Perhaps the Ranger has consulted Elarinya when Lore has been needed?

Also, as far as the questions; Elarinya is at her heart a historian. It would weigh heavy on her heart to live the life of a warrior, but if the Enemy attacks any of the Free Folk in strength, she will set down her work and face Sauron's forces head on. Basically, once the Enemy reveals himself in force, she will drop everything and fight him as befits one of the Noldor. It will contribute to her fading, though. Elarinya's ancestor Andvari, an apprentice of Celebrimbor, forged Andvaranaut, one of the lesser Rings.
A Travel of 3 would be great :D
