Having asked the question on why so many recent AP issues have appeared on the almost sold out store blog post (misjudged demand to paraphrase) and Paizo’s seeming reluctance to do another Anniversary edition like rise of the rune lords (I get and sadly agree they are 100% right with the money decision behind that) . I was thinking of ways to allow the fantastic AP’s to live on and maybe get repurchased without messing up the AP/Paizo business model. My idea is instead of collecting them in a hardback to re-release them in an updated improved or just pathfinder compatible (or years hopefully down the line PF 2nd+ edition compatible) to release one every year or two every 2-4 months in the six part format but to have no subscription so it takes 1 or 2 years to get all the issues but no free PDF’s without a real reprint as there would be some updating or just changes as the developers see fit to rules or just fixing mistakes/improving.

Your thoughts?

I'm in the UK so with postage buying direct from Paizo works out more expensive than buying from UK based stockists and I’m not really a fan of PDF's for reading. Also in the last month I have gone and bought 4 of the AP's I missed so I was thinking of taking a break from buying new stuff until the NPC codex comes out (to keep my wife and finances happier)

Thanks for the answer, Although that makes it even more difficult to try and convince myself to put of buying Shattered Star as it comes out ;)

Hi I was looking at the list of products that are running low on stock with Paizo. It struck me that the last 3 AP's already have a number of issues on the list. Is this because they are now selling quicker and the print run size has stayed the same or has the print run become larger and sales are just that much better ?

I use GamesLore.com and IGUK for new releases they tend to be about 1 or 2 weeks behind the USA street dates. But I will say Book Depository and Amazon are good for older stuff but they seem to be another 2-3 weeks behind for new releases.

I did a decent sized order when the last sale was on with Paizo. The shipping time was very good to the UK but I don’t think I could normally justify the cost of shipping.

Just got my "your order has shipped e-mail". With 2 complete AP's (Second Darkness & Legacy of Fire), 9 Modules and the Rise of the Runelords map pack (for only $2 this has to be the best sale item ever given that I just got the hardcover delivered today) plus Kingmaker part 1 all for under $150 including the postage to the UK (sadly postage is normally to high for me to order direct for my pathfinder stuff).

Thanks for helping me almost finish up my AP collection only Curse of ... and council of ... are now missing. Now I just have to hide them from the Wife when they arrive damn you paizo with so many great products the last two months and now the sale on top.
