"I seem to remember that it was you who took the beating last time," Ekene responds to Muruwa. "It seemed only fair to take my turn!" She shakes Teacher Ot's hand, then turns to look for her grippli friend. "Oh, no she didn't!" the elf shouts when she realizes Muruwa has already left. "I'm not going to let her beat me!" She takes off at a run!
Ekene leaps back into the fray, moving up to attack the elemental!
Ekene is grateful for her friends' assistance. She drinks the elixirs as Ufi and Zane hand them to her.
There is intense pain, then Ekene’s vision goes black. Fortunately, warm healing energy floods her body and brings her back to consciousness. The elf groans and realizes she is in the shark thing’s mouth. ”Let go!” she shrieks, pummeling it!
Ekene rushes forward, her long legs allowing her to quickly close the distance to the creature. She enters her crane stance and attacks with a flurry of kick!
Ekene anxiously shifts from foot to foot as the others ask questions and tend to their injuries. ”Let us not delay long. We have a school to save!”
Ekene continues her furious assault, landing one solid hit.
"Muruwa! No!" Ekene cries as her friend falls! She redoubles her efforts, battering Ngaja with crane wing strikes!
"United, we stand!" Ekene calls to Muruawa. The elf assumes her crane stance and attacks!
Ekene quietly waves the group over, hoping they all can be as stealthy as she was!
Ekene puts a finger to her lips and points to the sleeping creature. She then tries to sneak closer to get a better look at it.
Ekene retrieves the rope from her pack. ”I’ll go first and check it out!” The elf takes one end of the rope and dives into the pool, swimming through the water like a tall and slender fish!
Ekene moves around the second river devil to set up a flank for Muruwa. She unleashes another flurry of blows, following up with a devastating kick!
Ekene smirks at Muruwa. "I'll show you slow!" she says as she moves up into the flanking position. She enters her crane stance, raising a leg as she strikes!
”Yes, there is no time to waste!” Ekene declares.
Ekene looks over her friends' shoulders, letting those with more skill in this area of expertise deal with the door.
Ekene searches around the room, discovering a small wooden mask beneath the desk. This is a student’s mask shaped like a rabbit, and its cord has been torn, suggesting it was pulled off during the attack. "This must have come from whoever left these footprints," the elf says, pointing to the damp marks on the floor. "Shall we follow and see where they lead?"
Ekene shakes off the flash of light with no ill effects. She enters into her Crane Stance, leaping forward into the fray! With graceful movement, she delivers a flurry of crane wing strikes.
Ekene happily eats the scale along with everybody else. She relies on her athletic skills as she swims through the water, catching fish with her bare hands!
"Funny, Muruwa! Very funny," Ekene says with a grin. She is content to let her more well-spoken companions do the talking.
Ekene continues to display her physical prowess as she spins and weaves around them!
Ekene laughs softly. "My warrior training is paying off! Now, if only I could be so effortless with my studies! Fortunately, I have you to help me with those, Muruwa."[/smaller] She gives the grippli a friendly squeeze on her shoulder.
Ekene hides, and she is very good at it! She laughs as she leaves the guards in the dust!
Ekene effortlessly dances and weaves through the crowd!
Now Ekene is in her element! She springs off of the water taxi and follows the dwarf!
”Hey! Wait up!” Ekene calls. She is momentarily confused as Haibram darts off, unsure of which way to go.
"Indeed, I cannot wait to put our skills to the test, Muruwa! I will race you to Alandri's house!" The long-legged elf laughs as she takes off into a run.
Ekeene accepts the bracelet from Teacher Ot, bowing to him once he has finished assigning the group their task. "Thank you, Teacher Ot! We will not disappoint!" The young elf turns to her classmates. "Come on, let us make our families proud!"
Ekeene awakens with the sun, rising from her bed. She stretches and performs her daily katas, the graceful elf raising her arms and lifting her leg as she assumes the poses of her crane stance. After several minutes, she completes her routine. She bows, then straightens and smiles, ready to see what the day has in store...
