In case I haven't said it enough times, I absolutely ADORE the dynamic Isabel and Sorina have going!
Conner doesn't take long to consider it, it's not like he had any better offers and he certainly couldn't fault the company. He takes her hand "Deal." He looks down at the goblin. "I'd love a hat." Eh-Acka pumps his hand up and down. "Arright, I'll do some diggin'! See you on the floor tonight!" With that, she scampers out the door and out into the city...
"You want a hat?" Eh-Acka asks. "Could probably find one somewhere...lots of sea captains an' sh!t down at the docks with their fancy hats, and that's where you'll find some of the best garbage piles, maybe someone threw one away!" she offers with a grin. "That's how I got my wig!" She takes off the scraggly hairpiece to show it off before putting it back on.
"Yepyepyep!" Eh-Acka says proudly. "Sorina charmed the pants off them goons! Er...no, wait, wuzzat word you longshanks use when yer saying something to describe stuff, but it isn't actually happening?" She scratches her head and adjusts her wig. "Anyways, we better keep an eye out an' be careful...we ran into Big Boss Clegg Zincher at Saint Caspy's, and I think he was behind the booze theft...he may be tryin' to mess with the Gold Goblin's business!"
Eh-Acka, unfortunately, stands at just the right height that the thug's...um...reaction...is obvious. She makes a face and rolls her eyes before turning to the men. "Arright, chop-chop!" she barks to them. "I wanna see that cart loaded an' ready or I'mma start bitin' shins!"
They tried to book a whole bunch of rooms under the government rate...and have one person's government ID cover all those rooms at once, which isn't how that works. And then when we explained this, they decided to argue. They trashed their rooms, leaving garbage all over the floor, but emptying the trash bins themselves, presumably to hide the evidence of smoked weed in the rooms like we couldn't just smell it. AND the multitude of kids they brought made terrors of themselves in the lobby, throwing apples at each other (they got them from the fitness center), tearing curtains down and knocking over flower displays!
No apologies necessary! We're ALL busy! We had a NIGHTMARE wedding group at the hotel this weekend! :)
I had my birthday yesterday!
I'd say we're from Zincher to try and trick them, but alas, I don't have the Versatile Performance to substitute for Bluff, only Diplomacy and Intimidate...
Eh-Acka grins and makes finger-guns at Edric. "Aaayyyyy!"
"Thanks, bucko!" Eh-Acka says, flicking him a gold piece. "Treat yourself to somethin' nice!" She winks at him.
Realizing she's the "little green friend" Sorina's talking about, Eh-Acka perks up. "Yeh! I mean look at these arms! I can maybe get my sh!t off the ground, but walkin' with it's another thing entirely, 'specially if I can't see where I'm goin'!" she adds with a toothy grin.

Eh-Acka scratches her head and adjusts her wig. "What kinda name is "Conner?" Sounds like an eel!" she wonders aloud.
"Avery Slyeg stole the Gold Goblin's newly-arrived supply of liquor, and as we're the Gold Goblin's gals, we're going to get it back!"
The art is inconsistent on how many fingers goblins have...some show four, others five. I went with five just to make it easy...
Eh-Acka swings her belt pouch around and rummages around in it a moment before counting out 5 gold pieces on her fingers. Once she's sure she's counted correctly, she cheerfully hands them to Sorina.
Eh-Acka scratches her head. "Really? We're just gettin' some basic booze back...that's a drop in Slyeg's scum bucket given the money he moves. He probably won't even notice it, let alone realize you had anything to do with it, let alone the fact that your only involvement was providing the getaway vehicle. I mean, how many of your wagons and carts get used that way every day in Riddleport, for much bigger heists?"
Doubt flashes through Eh-Acka's mind...30 golds WAS a lot of money...but then just 3 golds was a lot of money to a goblin, so it was all a lot of money to her regardless...
Eh-Acka, despite her eagerness to get going, keeps her big mouth shut.
"Man, that longshanks is armed to the TEETH! Wonder if he's got em sharp like a goblin's...definitely an out-of-towner, but not a sailor from the looks of him. Wunner if he blew in with some Varisians?" Eh-Acka comments.
"We not stealing a cart then? Awwwww..." Eh-Acka says, a little put-out. She watches the stranger a bit, a bald brow raised.
Eh-Acka's face lights up like a Crystalhue bonfire. "YehYEH! Let's DO it!"
Indeed. I was just wondering what the others' tactical suggestions might be, since like my character I'm not all that bright when it comes to tactics...:P
So...we gonna try and bust in first to secure the booze before getting a cart, or cart first?

Hey, just to let everyone else know, I brought up our recent events with a friend of mine whom I've done play-by-posts with for over a decade, and he's expressed interest in possibly joining. He goes by Conner of Cambent here on the Paizo boards (he first joined when I invited him to another game here under similar circumstances, so he wasn't quite familiar with the practice of a main account and using alias accounts for play-by-posts). He's roleplayed here with Dragoncat and me as well in a Rise of the Runelords campaign, so I let our GM know he's interested, and from my understanding of the communications so far, Dragoncat would like your approvals as well to allow him into our group!
"If they're as bright as the two Zincher posted to keep us out of St. Caspy's we should be fine," Eh-Acka says uncharacteristically quietly, and then she snickers.
I also built myself with finesse melee in mind with my dogslicer and buckler! Shankin' longshanks'...um...shanks! :P
"I was gonna suggest the exact same thing! LET'S RUN!" Eh-Acka cheers as she starts trying to move as quickly as she can...while letting Isabel lead the way so she doesn't get lost.

Eh-Acka goes over to the others girls and hops up on a seat, trying to be a good listener. "Who's Slyeg?"
Eh-Acka scampers in after them. "EY, DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THEM!" she squawks. "THEY GOT AN EAR FOR GOOD MUSIC!" When she sees Clegg Zincher himself, she draws herself up to her full...not all that tall...height and looks him straight in the eye. "Nice to meet finally meet ya in person, Mr. Zincher," she says, her tone surprisingly even and confident. "Split-Face talked about ya a lot. Good things, mostly."
"I know! My friends are in that meeting too, an' I gotta catch up with them!" Eh-Acka says, pointing at the others already in the building.
Ooohooohooo these boys are in TROUBLE!
"Thank yew, boys!" Eh-Acka says cheerfully. "You're gentlemans an' schoolerz! Now if you'll excuse me!" She scampers off to try and get ahead of them so she can duck into St. Casperian's ahead of them.
Eh-Acka pulls off the wig she's wearing and holds it out like a busker's hat. "Well? You like the performance or not?"
"What?!" Eh-Acka barks as she turns back to them. "Can't a bard busk in peace?!"
