But could you rewrite the scenario to allow for the battle between the dragon and balor to be essentially over already when the PCs actually get there? It'd be less about saving the dragon and more about getting vengeance or justice for it.

That is the kinda stuff Im going for. They want to continue with paizo cuz they like the structure (wierd?) and the stories are very cool. Plus they got their 20th level fun stuffs. I can jerry-rig battles pretty well using things like Alleran mentioned. but again its more the LOOT that puzzles me

every random demon doesnt have a royal treasury worth of gold in his pocket.

So my group wants to start this, and weve just hit level 20 after RotRl (Had to play with the exp a bit there) and I'm wondering, how ould I go about staring this FROM level 20. Monsters and Exp are easy enough to fudge, but Loot seems like its going to be a problem. not everyone the world is going to be carrying around a +5 Vorpal Longsword, or any such thing.

Anyone have any ideas?

dont know how that posted. how about Alchemist? It was the one class that was almost COMPLETELY passed over in the playtest with the exception of like 2 helpful Trickster abilities. Has that been fixed?

so mythic null/voids enemy armor class. lmao.

Sorry I dont know how to hide it BUT:

My 3 alternating GM's all agree that using (as an example) a greatsword 1 handed Is overpowered. I am a huge anime nerd so i love that its reminiscent of that superpowered bad*ss
(and as for flavor) my current GM and i have an entire backstory worked out for my character. He's a tiefling and we came up with an ancestral father who uses large sized weapons even though he is medium. it adds. i will say it is a personal preference. I have always been a fan of bigger is better. Also that makes me hate titan mauler. I'm not overfond of Barbarians in general. i hate the idea of taking 6 levels in it to be able to use a greatsword in 1 hand at no penalty. BLEH im ranting.

dear lord. My Paladin will never miss again... cept with a nat 1 lol.

figures. its hard not to rant about it tho.

on an unrelated note, would someone PM me WHY that is so overpowered? I've never understood...

(would also appreciate a good argument to use on my GM for that particular ability)

Now, is the champion ability that reduces your 2nd attack penalty by -5 still in there? now THAT seems overpowered

Scared as I am to even ask, Is there anything (probably in champion?) about using a larger weapon, or a two-handed weapon in one hand? It's always bothered me that I can fight dragons and go toe to toe with giant demons, but GM's argue endlessly with me about wielding a Greatsword in one hand.
