"You should sit down, sir. You look tired."

He puts one of his legs behind the attacker's ankle, and shoves him in the chest with an elbow.

He then looks around the place for anyone still looking like they want to go. "And I strongly suggest everyone else does the same, unless you would like me to use this instead of my fists.", he threatens as he draws his blade.

"There are times to fight, and times to remain calm. I believe it would benefit everyone here to keep doing the latter. Furniture included."

A towering man dressed in various shades of red and gold runs towards group. "Am I late? I saw a message posted, but had to go fetch my belongings... Oh, she's still here.", he looks at the Glorious Payoff and breathes a little heavily, as if he ran a few kilometers in full gear. "Hi. Ebir's my name. Azarola.", he nods at everyone. "Nice to meet you. If you already made introductions, I can catch up with everyone on the ship. No point wasting time on land."

He walks past Bennary on his way to the deck, and gives her a quick nod: "Captain."

He listens to Benarry's briefing, this time with his gear stowed below the deck. The man has several scars on his arms, and a few smaller ones on his face. HIs slowly graying hair just hands from the sides of his head, and could honestly be better kept. But he doesn't seem to mind. A short beard with some salt in it frames his face.

"Yes, Captain...", Ebir clears his throat. "Where exactly should we be looking for this Captain Fane? And is there anyone in particular we should be aware of? I mean people who might plan to stop us. Except slave drivers, of course."

He looks at Rahnboo. "Our resident chef thinks Onyx Alliance may be involved. He can tell you more, perhaps."

Sorry, I was contemplating the next step. I don't recall being given some sort of manifest from the ship. Did we see anything like that? I just skimmed the post from the dock, but I don't think it's mentioned.

I don't have society trained, so can't recognise the source of the writing either. If someone else does, they could try, I suppose.

I will delay so that we are all in 1 group for initiative. I feel like it's slowing down the combat a lot. Delay to be in the same initiative block with other players - ie let black make their move, then I will go.

Alright, we got 14 gp in the satchel, let's buy healer's tools and whetever potions we can afford after that and let's get moving?

healer's tools is 5gp, elixirs are 3gp each. So we can get a healer's kit and 3 elixirs. I don't mind chipping in for more if needed.

So what's the consensus here? I understand there might be an element of urgency, hence the question whether anyone can treat wounds with medicine skill. That does 2d8, we still have a few (two, to be precise) healing elixirs left, and I can still do some lay on hands stuff, but that needs 10 minutes per use to refocus.

"Well, this is concerning.", Ebir comments the obvious, but probably just thinking out loud. "And there was nobody else in this tavern, just the pale fellow and their cronies? No bystanders?"

"If we're not in a rush, I can help with the wounds, but it will take some time. So unless someone has a faster method, I will need to be left alone for a while to channel the... touch? I guess. Looking at all of us, will need a little under two hours."

Lay on hands heals 6 damage per use, and both me and Dendri will need 3 instances each. Rahnboo will need 2. So that's 90 minutes + 10 minutes to refocus again afterwards.

Ebir opens his eyes, and has something in his mouth. He looks confused for a moment, then realises what is happening, and gives Corkin a thumbs up. With the same hand, he reaches for the vial, and pulls it out. He grabs the wound on his arm, and checks whether it is bleeding. Fortunately, it is not.

"Thank you. And the rest? Are they well?", he starts looking around, and sees Rahnboo moving about. "Okay... the little guy is fine."

Then his eyes catch Dendri on the floor, clothes still smoldering a bit. "Well, that is concerning. Is she alive?", Ebir slowly stands up while grunting with pain. He walks over, and turns the sorceress around. He sees breathing, and seems satisfied. "Right. We'll fix that. In a moment. Are we safe? I need to get my thoughts in order."

Minor objection. I have 19 hp total max. Took 3+6 (fire breath) + 2 (persistent fire) +7 (melee piercing fire), for a total of 18, so I should have 1 left. Was there anything I missed?

Ebir sees Rahnboo disappearing from his peripheral vision. He curses under his breath, quickly reaches for the elf, and -both of them burning- lifts him up with both hands. It seems there is a faint light emanating from his palms. He looks the elf in the eyes as this happens. When he sees the elf come to his senses, he gives him an apologietic look for what he is about to do. "I hope you can swim, friend.", before Rahnboo responds, he attempts to throw him off the dock, and into the water.

Before I do the actual post, there's something I want to clear up here regarding the persistent damage. From the rules I saw, it states that the roll to end the persistend damage is a flat check once you take damage from the source. This is outside of our turns, then? Or can I spend 2 actions to make a flat DC15 check to put out the flames? Or try to, rather.

Ebir nods at the new arrival while he tries to focus on what the head gardener has to say. A little confused by he fact that a gardener is taking care of the exposition-to-be, he looks around for anyone else that could seem to be in charge, but fails to find anyone else that could be.

He lets others speak to Seshuun, but eventually decides to follow orders, and leaves for the dock. "People will do all kind of work these days.", he expresses his disdain for the situation. "An arborist of some sort? Setting up a museum display? Who the hell hired that person for the job? No wonder it ended up being a delayed mess."

When they reach the docks, Ebir walks up to the woman that greeted them. "Good day. This here is the Sixwing Drake? It was supposed to have a shipment for the Blackros Museum, but the items never arrived. We're here to look into it. Are you in charge?"
