Long story short the party of 6 lvl 7 pc's had split, and only 3 of them entered the sun/moon vault under brinewall, to loot any possible treasure, the rest had retreated to the village, so are not any help or assistance in the fight that broke out.

The 3 to enter included the gnome sorcerer, dwarf warpriest and half elf barbarian, a little down on hitpoints, and spells, but otherwise pretty good for the coming fight.

Well a general panic and lots of AoO saw a full rout from Rokuro, as the wraith layed into them, he chased them to the top of the stairs, and that was as far as I intended to have him follow, but the sorcerer, was knocked unconscious, and the war priest soon followed, they both told the Barbarian player OOC to flee, so she high tailed it, and left them, unconscious with the wraith standing over them.

I've only just noticed the wraith targeted CHA, not con, but outside of the sorcerer it only would have hastened the unconscious state, the sor con is the same as his cha, so it made little difference to his fate overall, and the dwarf would be down from cha drain, rather than hitpoints, so the result is still both unconscious with the wraith.

The advice I now need is would the wratih continue to attack the fallen enemies and of course turn them into wraiths? or would he return to his lonely damned existence guarding the vault?

I've played him up more as a reactive, and defensive foe, rather than an overly aggressive one, and for the one of the first times in my GM life time genuinely stumped as to what to do? Wraith them?, or leave them for the eventual rush to save them returns?

I seem to be missing the Core Rulebook download, can someone confirm if it's a bug or if my old age is tricking me into thinking I had it, when in fact I didn't.

My HD died, so just getting the files back and trying to salvage the RotRL campaign :(

Hey folks,

I'm typically the DM for our Group, but recently I've been given the joyous chance at actually playing for a change.

My concept is a half-drow druid (FR Setting) - something I typically don't go for.

I'm likely to be going into Vermin Keeper Prestige class.

But my question is - would you allow a druid the ability to wildshape into vermin as a base class feature if they gave up the option of wildshaping into Animal forms.

Now my group oftens goes with what I say, so I'm a little too careful of such a suggestion for my character incase it turns out to be too powerful.

Now as DM i'd let a player do it, but I'm biased towards it, as I want to do it.

Can anyone give suggestions or reasonings why for balance sake I/we couldn't do this?

I think you lose more by giving up animals than you do for gaining ability to wildshape into vermin.

Thanks
EB

Hello All,

I need the minds of the great to once again help me track down something I wish to see again.

I'm fairly sure it was a late 80's early 90's TV Mini-series.
2-4 episodes.

Basic stuff I can remember from it
It alternated between "earth" and a "spacevessel"

The earth side had a detective tracking down a killer -this killer as the show develops is an alien, is super fast, strong and very deadly.
Something makes me think shapeshifter or colour changing/light refracting. This alien came from the space vessel.

Now on the Sapce Vessel, the crew possibly a prison ship keeeping the alien and the detective goes to earth to get it back? hazy memory.

But the crew are killed off in some way and the sruvivors have to battle the former crew who have gone zombie-ish but with kind of genetic abnormalities?

One scene had the scientists with a big tentacle growing from the back attached to a corpse dragging it around?

Thats about all I can remember!

Any ideas, bit of a long shot, but hope it pays off for me!

cheers
'Beard

Any able to assist me on any hard rules for being drunk and entering combat? or just its general negative effect, or even bonus in general life. ;)

Cannot use SRD as websense blocks it at work.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Ok heres what I remember

Must've been mid to late 80's, possibly early 90's.

The Plot.

Two kinds of aliens.

One is a Slug like alien that possesses humans, and drives them to Kill, take drugs and do all kinds dangerous things. This hyper-manicness takes a heavy toll upon the "hosts" and there bodies, damaged and quite frequently shot up, can no longer suit the aliens purpose. So they seek to leave and capture a fresh "host".

I remember one of the hosts using Gaffa/Electrical tape to seal up wounds and trap the slug like alien from escaping!

Now I'm sure the second aliens are more benficient and take "hosts" of local law enforcement and track down to kill this Slug Alien thing.

Now I'm hoping this memory of my younger days, hopefully sparks some lacent memories in someone else and they can enlighten me on this films name!

I've tried searching Google and other places, but I keep drawing a blank!

Thanks

As the Title says, do we have any information on the release dates for these two?

Almost reached prep stage for them and itching to get my greedy hands upon them!

Thanks in advance.

P.S Not seen this asked yet? Probably has been ;)

Does anyone have access to Higher quality map for Eberron than the sections found on the WOTC map download section.

I have 2 copies of the DM Screen map and it is fantastic, but I wnated one I could print out and alter to my hearts content!

Any assistance would be appreciated.

p.s stuck at work, so have hard time accessing some sites.
But any and all links will be greatly accepted.

Ok folks, anyone have a setting book to hand that can tell me the actual Current Year for Eberron.

It defaults as 2 years after the end of the war, my campaign starts the year after.

Also if you could be so kind as to provide the actual month/day of the mourning/end of the war.

I'm currently stuck at work and finishing up the calender for the players, but I left my notebook at home, curse my foolishness! I would like to print the copies off at work, for our saturday session.

So if anyone could spare me the moments and information, i will send you a bag of giant choc chip cookies :)

Here's the question.

according to the DMG a disease is checked for each day if not "cured" That is clear, but what isn't, is the ability damage the player suffers, also afflicted each day if the saving throw "fails" from the way and the vague description it does appear that this is so?
Anyone able to clear this slight confusion up for me?

Also a random question, could a warforged be a carrier of Disease in the living "wood" components of its body, of course the warforged in question would not suffer any ill affect from the disease, but could they act as a carrier and threat to the "breathers"?

thanks in advance.

What happened to this one, I see 141 has been posted up and good job on that? I know the Paizo staff are always busy!

I know conversion notes exist for BWG, but no online supplement, only just noticed as I'm downloading them at work!

Thanks

I've tried to find the section for this in the campaign setting but cannot find it listed!

The question I have is in relation to surnames/family names

a lot of npcs had either d'kundarak or ir'Valon for for example

what does the d' and ir' and other similar titles actually breakdown too in literal meaning?

thanks

I've read in a couple of threads about a big foldout map of the third city in this adventure path, yet cannot seem to find it in my copies at all?

Is this accurate, is the map from elsewhere or a issue I do not have? I believE last issue i had was the Longspire section ((tho without my copies cannot be sure on this)).

If it is indeed a gift with dungeon which issue does it appear within, so i can check when i get home..

Thanks ahead of time...
