Eal is a Shoanti of the Shriikiri-Quah, the Hawk Clan. He's always been an explorer, wandering widely all over the lands held by his tribe, in the plains east of Riddleport and below the Storval Plateau. This earned him the name “Longwalker”. At 16, he became an outrider — one of the tribe’s warriors who patrols their range, keeping the tribe safe. He is fluent in Shoanti, of course, but his grasp of Common, while good enough to get by, is not great.
