Hi all. I really regret doing this but can I have a week or so break in addition to what I have had? I'm struggling as it is and this game, not sure why, is stressing me out.

Its a weird thing. As an aside for my absence of late, I went off my anti-depressants/assorted other meds for a while and thought I was on top of it, then made the invariably STUPID mistake of not taking them yet again.

Just back from the Psych today and I've got a new prescription and am back to taking meds but its gonna take me a week to stabilise.

Is this a good game? You bet your ass! I don't have a rational reason why I am finding the game difficult yet I am. If you wish to write me out I'm cool but I should be back in a week.

Aku I have a problem.

I've let work pile up on me and I've a tonne of work to clear - I ended up working the entire weekend. Its going to take a lot of effort, and time to shift.

I am a big fan of your game and really appreciate your efforts but in the next week or so I will have limited focus at best.

I don't expect you to hold the game on my account but if you want to 'bot' me I'd be more than happy with that situation. I'll try to get into the game (purchasing decisions for Eldred are something I WANT to focus on - its important to me and the character) but I just don't have the mental bandwidth for anything other than a potion of Remove Fear (which is CRITICAL). There are other considerations as well that I don't have the mental energy to play out right now.

Hoping that you'll allow me to stay with the game and just bot me until sanity is restored

I think we need a shopping mission in Farholde. Our wand of healing is nearly depleted and it is far from robust as a healing tool - it could take us 10 or more expenditures these days to just one of us recover from a more previous fight. A more powerful wand is needed for when speed is important. Does the central fund have another 750 gold for a standard healing wand and then another 750 gold for a wand of Infernal healing - Heinrich can use that in a pinch, and then a final 4,500 for a wand of cure moderate wounds As a 3rd level caster, so 2d8 + 3? I feel like we could be in real trouble if we don't get this shopping done now - I am willing to chip in personal funds towards the needed 6000 gold if our joint funds can't cover it.

Everything selected apart from the feat. My thanks to Aku for the bonus skill points we get - they have allowed by character to be far more diverse that what it normally would be, sinking points into knowledges (which is likely a complete waste of resources... the CRs on some of the critters we'll face moving forward will have Knowledge DCs beyond my abilities) and professions etc.

Okies... a wee bit confused as to my level 9 feat.

Do I take the looooong awaited leadership feat? It looks late in the game to bring into play as we are going to be facing down a bloody silver dragon soon. Not sure how much they are useful in chapter 3 onwards (I assume that the boss fight is with the Dragon?)

Improved critical would NORMALLY be my go-to feat but I have that already with my Bracers and it won't stack with the item.

Do I take weapon focus Great Sword? Never use the weapon but it positions me for other feats.

Any other suggestions? I'm BAB+8 so that opens things up for me a bit.

I think that a straight slayer would fit more or less what I've done with the character - Ranger/Rogue but its a lot of hassle to remake the character and trying to bridge gaps that will inevitably occur.

I appreciate the offer, but I think I'll stay with Eldred as is. As Agrippa said, he's working as intended.
