Ok, so since we may or may not ever see Pathfinder revised psionic class info, I'm going to do some work with my friends and come up with revised core psionic classes.

Psion - I want to make Disciplines match the School & Domains style, how ever I need to figure which of those it should most closely resemble.

As Schools: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th

OR

As Domains: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, 20th

I'm thinking that as Schools makes more sense, since Psions are closer to being wizards than clerics, but then Disciplines right now barely give any benefit, just more powers to pick from. So maybe as Domains makes more sense.

Also, I'd like to give an alternate option to Psions instead of a Psicrystal, like an item that stores a certain number of spare PP that only the psion can access.

Psychic Warrior - give them a full BAB at the least

Wilder - more powers per level, I'm thinking 1 every level, or maybe 3 every 2 levels (ie 1,2,1,2,etc)

Soulknife - access to a very few psi-like abilities off the PsyWar list

Any thoughts?

Ssychic warrior should keep BAB it has now.

I basically decided that the gestalt was not much different than multiclassing in 2nd ed., which xp was divided between the classes of a character evenly, so gestalts in my campaigns have a 50% xp penalty, which consistantly keeps them 2 levels behind single class characters. Its not really that unbalanced. Most players opt to go with a single class char., but a few have gone gestalt, and it has worked out pretty well.

I personally like the original 1st ed bards premise of being a amalagam of fighter, rogue and druid. I'm eager to see the pathfinder version of the bard, but in the campaign im in now, i am playing a bard on the way to becoming a Fochlucan Lyrist, whic is a bout as close to my vision of the bard as I have found. we have a small party, a druid with a ape for a companion, an elven wizard and myself. so far, we have had a lot of fun, and i really like this character.
as to the pathfinder changed, i like the d8 hp, and going back to ranks with a +3 for class skills works great. The wizard player loves the school power abilities, and the druid player is happy that he doesnt have to change much where his character is concerned.
Great job, Paizo! Keep up the good work!

Just played our first session, and so far we love what we see.
I like the double max hp starter, allows small group of 2 to survive a little longer.
I am also pleased with the different xp advancement options. I have decided to use the slow column for our group. we like to milk as much roleplaying enjoyment as possible, and 3.5 always had our party moving way too fast for some reason...
Im looking forward to seeing the Bard, and curious how perform will work. maybe have bards gain a new catagory every 2-3 levels in perform.
I like the idea of being able to customize the bardic music as well.
But Im really a big fan of the 1st ed. bard, and I loved the fochlucan lyrist in 3.5. My hope is that this will not be invalidated. I like the connection bards had to druids, and use that assumption of a group in my own campaigns.
All in all, I love what I've seen so far! Cant wait to see more!
Thanks for giving us something other than 4ed!
