Now THAT is an imposing axe! I always have a problem drawing those... Very nicely done. I love the intricities and details in the armor, especially the arms and hands. Very nice. Oh, and the Cat's "official" name is Sagira (real-world egyptian for "little one" I believe), however one of my character's quirks is the inability to remember names very well on the spot and therefore has taken to referring to animals by their species, therefore calling the cat "cat", and referring to people by gender and age, such as boy, lady, sir, etc. ![]()

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful! *Bows* Thank you very much. I love the little details like the small tears in the clothing, the ring on the cat's tail is so precious and the Flute came out way better then I even pictured in my mind. This is getting printed and hung on my wall. ![]()

the class is ranger. the cat i mentioned is not actually an animal companion. just a pet. other small detail taken from original post: large scar on his right arm. ![]()

my character is male, tall, willowy, human. around 21-23. as he's Osirion, he probably has typical egyptian type tones and features (black hair, tan skin, etc). his clothing is rather drab as he comes from a large family, so most of it would be tatered and second hand. he usually wears a wrap around his head to keep out dust and such. his skin is calloused and rough, but no real scars or sores on his face. his right hand though, does have a scar, going up from the space between thumb and forefinger to elbow from childhood. it has long healed, but is now an angry line of white against his otherwise darker skin. for the pose, something implying rangerness would be cool, since that's his class. signature items: I know he can't have it at level one, but a silver Khopesh with an obsidian handle would look cool for him, and a cane or walking stick of some kind with some egyptian flavoring would be pretty sweet. (in game, it would also house a flute he plays). if the cane is not possible, or you want some variation, he does have a cat animal companion, jet black with green eyes. not sure if that was too accurate, not enough, etc. by the way, i like you art page. very nice. and even if you were talking about non-pathfinder character, all of the above applies to the character for another game i'm playing, except replace Osirion with the egyptian flavoring of the other setting. and if you'd like something more creative, I can describe my old half-silver dragon dwarven mindblade named Lefty. and pencil is fine. ![]()
![]() *looks up at Russell* A Quadiran talking of something not being profitable? you must have missed that day at school. Now what is this talk of war and the dogs thereof? we were nicely entertaining each other with tales of times past. I believe it is your turn, friend. or do i need to pay for your words at your own party? *the last being spoken with dry sarcasm.* Incidently Sirouz, I just so happen to know a "song of the scimitar". it was taught to me one night, under a red moon. should you be interested, i might be willing to play it for you. although it's better if one person plays and one sings. kind of hard when i play the flute. ![]()
![]() hmm. well you seem to be protective about your stature, based on how you treated the other guests. why not one where you did something about it?

![]() ... *looks slightly ashamed and awkward* I panicked. It happens to everyone sometimes. and as for my friend, well, she got assigned to another part of the world. she was nice though. a lady of the cloth. oh the discussions we got into. never could pronouce her goddess. it was that one of nature. How about yourself? any tales to tell while we're comfy? *offers her some water* ![]()
![]() It is of a sentimental value lady, and while it is of minor value, no more so then most baubles you'd find at the market. you see, this finger saved my life. *lowers voice to make sure she's paying attention and drinks more water to raise the tension* on my last trip, me and my friends got locked in a room, a burial one by the looks of the skeletens. sliding door, made of rock, just trapped us there and sand started falling in. after some searching, i found a hole in the wall, just big enough for a finger. i was about to put my finger in when- *takes a bite of bread and water* my friend stopped me. I had almost forgotten the core tenet of being careful. she bound up these finger bones and poked them in there. the spark and flash told me she just saved my live. the door opened and we were able to get out in time, but i took the finger as a reminder to never forget basic safety. *chuckles to himself and puts the finger away after one last look* ![]()
![]() *Although shocked by the familiarity he hides it well, showing nothing but a small stutter* W-well my dear, have you come to continue our discussion? uh...or perhaps you're more interested in stories of tombs and kings and adventures? *Pulls a large finger out of a pocket in his cloak. the bones are bound with what looks like dried sinew.* this for instance. I came across it in my last...trip. apparently it belonged to the court mage of a king from aeons ago. the bureau allowed me to keep it as payment. ![]()
![]() Ah, you're just surly you havn't found a way to charge them for it yet. *takes a gulp of his water. it does little to soothe the scratchy quality of his voice.* believe me, they're not all that bad. and like the lady says, we're all in it for our own reasons, be it shiny baubles or the rush of adreneline. we're all brothers and sisters here. come sit and tell us of your history. *Gestures to the empty cushion sitting in stark contrast to the hard floor he's currently sitting on* ![]()
![]() Spark wrote: *Smiles* I would, but whilst I can dance to this, it's a little too ghostly for my liking. Did this tomb not have any more upbeat melodies? Who dies and surrounds themself with even more death? For that matter who of great importance truly dies? *stops his playing and looks up* ah, but you see, that is the point. Death is but a stepping stone, a facet of life all must travel through. we are only known by what we leave behind. memories. we are passed down to our descendants and- *stops talking as everyone starts to look at him* I just realized this kind of philosophy is not suited to a party. how about a jig I picked up in port when i was a boy? And as for the tomb, well, that's a story for another time. *Begins to play a sailers jig, much more upbeat* i made my character in the interum between the last post and this one, so i can't change the last one to match this character. |
