Leaving his sword in it's scabbard, Duncan flows forward and takes an aggressive stance.

We were looking for our friend when we were set upon by a crazy lady and her thugs. We escaped and now are trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I have a feeling the guard has been compromised and are now hunting us because we discovered something we should not have!"

"Well that looks like a nice little haul. Lets gather them up and get out of here before anyone else shows up!"

Taking out his thieves tools, Duncan gets to work opening the locked chest.

Duncan examines the chest for traps and checks to see if it is locked. He will first try the ring of keys, then pick the lock if none of them work.

Duncan stands dumbfounded at the room. Such perverse torture he has not encountered before and he feels his gore rise. He watches as Mael searches the heads and lets out a breath he did not realize he was holding as it is revealed that none of the heads belong to Aleanor.

As Mael starts to move the ice block away from the trap door, Duncan gives him a hand, then tries the keys on the ring to see if any will open the lock.

Duncan tries the keys he found on the iron door. If none seem to work, he will pick the lock.

Taking the sword, Duncan enters the room and begins to look around.

More interested in the metal door, Duncan gives the room a cursory look before examining the metal door, then the wood one.

Will take key to Mael if found, or will pick the lock on the office door, after examining it for traps

We were looking for our friend...the one who called us all together, and I believe this warehouse was the last place she was seen...I think!

Duncan looks the fellow over then asks if he has seen their friend.

"She was last seen somewhere around here, according to others. Have you noticed anyone like that around here?"

Using the magic in his boots, Duncan silently climbs the crates and surprises the thugs there.

Taking a moment to tap into his inner powers, Duncan closes his eyes for a moment, then opens them. Suddenly the dark areas of the warehouse are no longer hidden from him...he can see in the darkness just like a dwarf or elf. With his new sight he is able to navigate easily around the crates and locate the hidden archers.

Sneaking up to their position, he silently moves in and attacks them.

Spending 2 KI to gain darkvision, as per shadow monk ability. Not sure if I need a climb or acrobatic check to get up to the guys on the crates, or if I can hit them from the ground. Will wait to attack until your ruling

Duncan swings into the opening in the roof and quickly moves to the ground floor where he disappears into the shadows..and starts to stalk the people inside the warehouse.

Duncan takes the rope and ties it off on the roof, then he assists the others in their climb.

Duncan moves to the edge of the roof and then walks down the wall to the waiting party.

"There were 2 thugs up there. I took care of one, but the other one disappeared. There is an unlocked hatch on the roof that we can use to enter. I can take a rope and secure it then help you all get up. What do you think?"

Duncan holds where he is and observes the crossbowmen. If they move away, he will scurry back down and tell the others what he has seen. If they fire on the group, he will reach out and pull the one closest to him off the roof.

Moving with stealth, Duncan begins to scale the wall, his spider slippers making the task as easy as walking down the street.

I unfortunately have been slack in my posting...but I am in the hospital awaiting surgery so I hope once this is over I will be back to a regular schedule. I am enjoying the game and look forward to playing more!!

Duncan breaths a little easier as the dwarven bouncers do not arrive, but is more concerned when their contact also is a no show.

"I hope nothing has happened to her. With all the weird things going on around here, I hope she has not fallen afoul of something...or someone!"

Duncan helps Johana pull Jordan from the filthy water as Lilly and Kjell heal him.

"I have a healing potion in my backpack if you require it!" he tells the group's healers.

Still on the back of the beast, and seeing his friends turning against one another, Duncan reverses his grip on his Kris and stabs down into the monster. While doing this, he also strikes at a vital area of the creatures neck.

Not sure if being on its back constitutes having advantage, but if it does then I will roll 2 more attacks as my advantage rolls, if not, ignore them!

Moving up the wall and across the roof to a position above the creature, Duncan wills the magic in his slippers off. He gracefully drops the 9 or so feet to the creatures back. Once there he uses his shortsword to hack at the spines holding Jordan to the creature.

Ok, well I do have the monk ability of slowfall if that is needed, as well I will make an acrobatic's roll. Not sure if I need an attack roll as well to hit the spikes, but I will add that in as well...anything else?
