Backstory:
Not sure himself how long ago he was born, but his earliest memories where of the dead shuffling around him, ignoring him alone among the living still within the village of Gillamoor. He himself was scorned by the living, his face bearing signs of "rot", but he still felt within himself a beating heart.

He wandered the quarantined area surrounding Gillamoor, finally finding escape through a break in the patrols. Once through, he was found by a Daughter of Urgathoa, a mighty servant of the Pallid Princess, who heard his story and offered him a place at her abode. It was there he came to worship the goddess of the undead, coming to hate the sound of his still-beating heart.

When he reached adulthood, he was visited in his dreams by a being he only knew through bedside stories: the Whispering Tyrant Tar-Baphon. Upon awakening, he saw the Daughter watching him. She told him that he must answer the Tyrant's call, for the Whispering Way sought the world the man also desired: a world unified by undeath.

Personality:
Generally unpleasant to be around, Drovius cares not for "people's" opinion of him, just so long as he was paid for his services. He tends to partake of fine foods and wines in abundance, a habit he picked up from his worship of Urgathoa. He will only engage the undead in battle if they attack him or his comrades first.
