Hello I'm thinking of making a (what is probably considered)middle aged Skinwalker but I can't find the rules for it I can only find that they reach Adulthood at 15. Are there listed age categories for them? If so where can I find them and if not would it be reasonable to just use the Human age categories?

Hey just a single question I have does the Unnatural Toughness special ability for a Skeleton Companion come into effect when you first get it so 5 x master's Charisma modifier and increasing by the Charisma modifier each level after or does it only start applying at level 6?

Hello all I'm currently in a campaign playing a White Necromancer(specially going into Grave Bound) and while it might be a ways off I'm trying to find some good magical items to be thinking of crafting or going out and looking for later.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on magical items that would be good for my character/class or just a Necromancer in general?

Hello I remember being on d20pfsrd looking through feats and finding one that acted like the Fiendish Sorcery Racial Trait for Tieflings allowing them to treat their Charisma as two points higher for things like Sorcerers and such.

I forgot the name of the feat so any help finding it would be appreciated.

Hey I'm just getting into a game and I'm making a Slayer for it but I'm having some trouble deciding on how to handle building him.

The GM has a couple of Houserules(Mainly that you get a feat every level) and Homebrew(Mostly races, changes to the magic system, on changing what Wisdom and Charisma apply to)

So I rolled for stats and currently have this as my Stat Array.

Str 16
Dex 14(race +2 so 16)
Con 16
Int 12(race +2 so 14)
Wis 12
Cha 11

The GM is also using a Flaw system allowing us to take up to three flaws each one giving us a feat. The feats I currently have are; Cosmopolitan, Toughness, Improved Shield Bash(thinking about switching this out), and Improved Initiative. I also have the traits Child of the Streets, Reactionary, and Pragmatic Activator

We are also using the Armor as DR rule and my character is equipped with a Longsword, Light Leather(wooden) shield, Longbow, and also has a dagger.

Most of the others seem to be going ranged so we kinda need a melee person but I was thinking of going Switch Hitter and still probably going to take some archery feats with the Ranger Combat Style talents. I just don't know if going 2Handed, Sword and Board, or TWF would be the better idea.

I appreciate any help that is offered.

A few more houserules that the GM has is that there is no more Weapon Finesse feat any weapon that could be used with it automatically has the option and Ranged Weapons also get Dex to damage.

Instead of just making boxes for the APs I think it'd be a good idea and allow people to get more of the miniatures they want/need to make boxes for each class(ex. Fighters which would include Fighter miniatures of various races, Wizards would includes wizards. etc. or it would have more of theme of just Melee characters which would include sword-and-board, two-handed, one-handed characters from classes like Fighter, Ranger, Barbarian; Arcane Users would include Bards, Wizards, and Witches) boxes for each race(Dwarf boxes would include Dwarves of various classes, same for Humans, Tengus, etc.) and boxes of various other types of enemies(Devils, Giants, Aberrations, etc.)

I think this would increase sells of the boxes you'd have a better chance of getting a mini that'd match a character you'd have the idea for better than just the AP box sets

Hello everyone I'm taking over GMing for our group's Rise of the Runelords game since my friend who was GMing before doesn't have the time to read through the book due to his job. I'm open to any advice anyone would be willing to offer and questions on mechanics. I'll probably drop in from time to time with another question and any answer/advice would be appreciated.

For my first question what would the mechanics of the Hagfish Challenge be? I know it would require a fort save(s) but a DC isn't listed in the Anniversary version of it(as far as I know).

Again any advice for the question or just general advice would be helpful and appreciated.

I have a quick question does the Warpriest just start using their level as BAB at level 3 where they get the Bonus Feats class feature or can they do it at level 1?

If it is the case can a Sacred Fist Warpriest still do this even though they don't get a bonus feat at 3rd level but it doesn't say it gets rid of the class feature?

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

Can alternate classes such as Samurai, Ninja take archetypes from the classes they are alternates for ex. Cavalier and Rogue or can they only take archetypes if they are made for them ex Sword Saint for samurai.

I've seen people say yes and no so I'd thought it'd be a good subject for an FAQ.

Reading the Pallid Crystal from Inner Sea Gods says that it doesn't effect other uses of positive and negative energy only cure and inflict spells and effects that duplicate them; what counts as effects that duplicate them? Would it effect Channel Energy, or a spell like Chill Touch, etc?

I know that Holy Water damages undead and evil outsiders but what does Unholy Water? Does it do damage to the living and good outsiders; or is it kinda just there?

Also if you can post where the effects can be found thank you.

For some feats in the Inner Sea Gods book some of the prerequisites are to worship a Demon Lord or a Archdevil.

I'm wondering does worshiping Lamashtu qualify for worshiping a Demon Lord since she is/was one and does worshiping Asmodeus count for worshiping an Archedevil since he is basically The Archedevil or do they actually have to be one from the list in the appendix.

Just probably a simple question to answer, while most traits say that add +1 to attack rolls with certain criteria such as the Dragonslayer trait for worshiping Dahak which says that you get a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls against creatures with the dragon subtype but the Corpse Hunter trait for Pharasma says you gain a +1 trait bonus on attacks made against undead.

So does that bonus apply to all aspects of an attack including the damage roll?

Would it be legal in society to have a Sword Cane but flavor it as a Sword Parasol like what Setsuka from Soul Calibur uses?

Alright I know that Half-Elves and Half-Orcs were ruled to count as both races and use feats, archetypes, spells, etc. that list the parent race as a prerequisite and that a Human with Racial Heritage can do the same.

Using search I could only find threads asking the basic question if they could before it was corrected that they could, but I'd like to know what limitations there are for PFS.

I know Half-Orcs can't be scarred witch doctors since nothing from the Orcs section of the ARG is legal, but say could a human with racial heritage Dwarf take the Dwarf favored class bonus for barbarians?

Has there been a official ruling that allows Warpriests to select Domains instead of Blessings or would I have to wait until the book comes out to see if that is an option for them?

Hello I'm thinking of making a Tiefling cleric of Lamashtu.

He would have the Madness Domain and Demon Subdomain I'm also thinking about having him be a Pitborn Tiefling and about taking the Monster Mask feat for flavor especially since he thinks that he is her child and she shows her favor in monstrous births.

I'd enjoy some help and advice anyone has.

The Double special feature on weapons say that you can use it as if fighting with two weapons just as if you were fighting with a one-handed and a light weapon.

Impact says that it can be placed on melee weapons that are not light weapons.

So can you put Impact on both parts of a double weapon and have them work since a double isn't really a light weapon?

Does the side you use as a light weapon for TWF no longer benefit from the enchantment since you're using it as one?

Or can the other side just not be enchanted with Impact?

Hello I'm going to be making a conjuratation focused wizard and I'm interested in going into the Prestige Class Diabolist.

Under the addditional resources page it says it is in Pathfinder Campaign Setting Princes of Darkness but I can't find that only Pathfinder Chronicals Princes of Darkness. Are they the same thing or is one an update? If they are same is there going to be an update sometime soon so I don't waste my money on an outdated book?

Hello just the other day I was thinking about the Master Chymist Prestige Class and some questions came to my mind.

1. If you have multi-classed into another does your alter ego have access to the class features from it? Example: Paladin's Lay On Hands

2. If you have a class with an alignment restriction if you turn into your alter ego if it doesn't meet the requirements do you 'fall' and have seek Atonement? Example: Paladin if the alter ego's alignment is CG or even along the neutral to evil scale
