I ran across this looking for info, as I pretty much am creating my first cleric in pathfinder.
When KBrewer suggested spells, he also recommended starting with a 20 wisdom score, which would grant the following additional spells per day-
0 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th
0 2 1 1 1 1
As stated in the rule book, for example you have to have access to 4th level spell(s) in order to gain additional 4th level spells. So, at 4th level, between what you are given from your class combined with bonus spells from a wisdom score of 20, you would have the following TOTAL number of casts per day-
0 1st 2nd
4 5+1 3+1
