Background:

Drannor Lucaryn was born in Kyonin and when he was the equivalent of an elven teenager, he was with his family on holiday when tragedy struck. Bad weather had hit the area where the Drannor family was traveling and the dried up ancient river bed they were on became a flash flood river of death washing the Lucaryn family away down the ancient bed. Drannor ended somewhere down the ancient river bed alone, wet, and passed out. When he awoke, he found himself in a bed of a wooden bed and structure. He could hear birds chirping joyfully outside and the sun was shining in. Being unsure of his surrounding and jumped out of bed, he quickly moved for the door, opened it, and took one step out and froze. It took Drannon a second to realize he was in a tree cabin. Then an old man yelled out to him, "Be careful lad, the step down is a doozy!" Drannor looked at the old man and spoke insecurely, What!, where am I? And the old man replied, "You are my guest, I found you alone and still alive! Drannor quickly replied in distress, "WHERE'S MY FAMILY?!" The old man lowered his gaze and looked away, "Sorry lad, they all perished and I buried them over yonder." The old man points to the location. MOTHER! ... FATHER! ... MERITH! ... NYANA! ... NO!!! Drannor collapses to his knees and begins to weep. The old man comes over to Drannor and places his hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry lad, they are in a better place and I will take care of you. Where are you from and do you have any relatives I can take you to?" Drannor replies sorrowfully and lowers his head, "It doesn't matter, my family is cursed because there is no one left. Please sir, kill me now? The old man patted young Drannor's shoulder, "Sorry lad, I will not kill you and you can live here. I will teach how to survive on your own but first I have some chores for you that this old body can do no longer. It will keep your mind off your loss and you can earn your stay but that can start tomorrow. The first work the old man gave Drannor, was to repair the stable and take care of the animals. Later, he showed Drannor how to survive by teaching him to hunt and making the implements from the trees in the forest." Once Drannor reached maturity, he became anxious, he grabbed his gear and approached the old man, "Father, it is time for me to go for my Elven blood grows anxious." The old man shed a tear and replied, "I know my Elven son, strike out to find your path in life."

Life with the Wild Wolves:

Drannor came upon the Wild Wolf camp and asked if he could join up with them and if they could provide training. The mercenary Drannor approached said, "Go to talk to the SIC over there." Drannor started to think, "I don't want to talk to someone who is sick! What kind of people would do that?" He walks upon the second mercenary and receives the same response, "Go talk to the SIC over there!" After being deflected around the camp for a bit, he reported to the Second in Command Shelly Harrison. She looks at him and replies, "You don't look very strong, what do you have to offer?" Drannor frowns and then replies with confidence, "I know I am skinny and I currently don't have any skills but I want to join you if you will train me. Shelly thinks for a moment and responds, "We usually don't train new recruits but if you learn fast, then we can see what your made of but first why don't you go out with the hunting party for dinner tonight. First, let's see if we can trust you while you earn your stay?" Drannor went out with the dinner hunting party and came back with a good amount of meat for both a fresh meal tonight and to smoke for jerky and pemmican. After a month of doing chores and earning the trust of the Wolves, Shelly came up to Drannor, "Why don't you visit with Yaz Erfryr, Valessa Bareth, Lothorian, Tobar, Zero, Daniel, and others to see if you can learn anything from them? After a few months, Drannor starts to learn skills that will be useful and finds out he has a stronger innate bond to magic that he didn't know he had. After Shelly observed that Drannor had developed the skills to be viable, "You now have nice set of skills the Wild Wolves can now use, report to Commander Bernadotte." Drannor reports to the command tent, "Recruit Drannor reporting as ordered!" Pip Bernadotte looks at Drannor and says to him in his french-like accent,"It's amazing that you have no muscle but yet I hear you are quick on your feet and have become useful. Well, let's see how useful you have become but first I am placing you in reserve. After I dismiss you, track down Yaz Erfryr, Valessa Bareth, Lothorian, Tobar, Zero, and Daniel. I have a mission for them. You are dismissed! Drannor snaps to attention and then quickly leaves the tent to find the Mercenaries Commander Bernadotte requested. As he leaves, Shelly Harrison walks in. After finding all of requested members, Drannor goes about his chores waiting to be called out of reserves.

Physical Appearance and Personality:

Drannor is quick on his feet, learns and adapts quickly, and is a team player. However, he can be a little slow moving which is frustrating at times but what do you expect from someone who can out live most humanoids? Of course, if his life is at stake, he will move fast then. He doesn't trust many people outside his band. And although he does not look like a Dark Elf nor has any blood of one, he does not appreciate being called one because he can see in the dark and cast light at will.

Drannor is very tall and lean. He has no fat nor any muscle mass but makes up for it by being quick. He has brown shoulder length hair and hazel eyes that seem to be different than most elves. He is wearing a metal shirt made from fine metal, a short sword in a scabbard, carries a composite long bow of high quality, and a nice high quality leather backpack that has a high quality quiver attached to it. In addition, he is wearing a golden amulet, a well made cloak, and a gold ring.
