We're nearing our deadline as well, aren't we? If it's too close then I wouldn't mind skipping it out of necessity. I forgot when it was supposed to end.

If there's no objections, Drake can take advocate.

Same with Drake. He's kinda monopolized a lot of the talking segments. If anyone wants to hop in and let me take the backseat, I'm good with it.

Drake does start asking those present about what usually happens during a tribunal in this plane, the attitudes of the judges, and general knowledge of the process. All with a smile and no shortage of charm, of course.

"Using souls and denying them their final resting place is a terrible sin. However, I don't believe that your knowledge should end here. You should be trying to better the multiverse in an attempt to atone. I believe you are ready to atone. Am I wrong? If I am not, I will speak on your behalf at the tribunal."

"Yes, we found them," Drake said as he hands over the one in his possession. "What of this tribunal you will need to go through? How can we help?"

Drake smiled at Eleven-Sun-Truth. "Yes, please lead us back with all haste."

"Take Shamak with you. I trust he'll be able to keep you from doing anything... else... unauthorized."

Drake frowned, thinking it over. He turned to the rest of the group. "Anyone willing to go? As much as I hate to say it, the lives come first."

Oblivious to their inner turmoil, Drake looked surprised. "I'm sorry, you'd like to trade for what? For what purpose?

As tempting as it is, Drake's on the job currently.

Drake nods and smiles. "Thank you for your time, Yakomo. We really appreciate everything you've told us. We'll head off, and I wish you peace for as long as it suits you."

"Well, that's hardly fair. Though, they are giving us the opportunity to get what we seek back, so I'm not sure what this meeting is going to entail. I'm terribly sorry that you were dragged into this, Yakomo. However, do you remember anything else? Perhaps a spell she used that could be identified?" Drske asked.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (3) + 12 - 2 = 13

Drake doesn't hear anything out of the usual, but still gets ready for something nasty as he trusts his team.

"It's barely about the Tapestry at this point, there are people there who have been living there for generations. They don't deserve getting tore up with the demiplane. They are innocent victims."

"While my companion is strange in the best of ways," Drake started. "They are correct. Without the engrams, many people will die needless deaths. We've come to petition you on behalf of those people incapable of doing so on their own. It is asking a lot, but I beseech you, giving those over will save so many people from an unfair end."

Drake kept his voice down, but some loudly enough for her to hear. "I do apologize for bothering you, especially during such a beautiful concert, but there's something very important we need to discuss with you. My name is Drake Finnigan. May I have some of your time?" Drake flashed a winning smile. "It won't take long at all."

Drake shook his head as he landed back in his body. "Well, that certainly was a trip," he stated. Once he was sure the vision was over, he explained everything that he saw to the group and offered the engram to anyone who wanted to try it for themselves.

Illegal Search and Spellcraft: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 14 - 2 = 20

"Hopefully he's gone for good," Drake said with a frown. Cautiously, he walked up to the desk to check out the device the devil had been so enamored with. Waving his fingers and speaking a few more words, Drake cast Detect Magic to check out the box. He also gave a quick glance around the room to see if there were any other magical points of interest.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 - 2 = 22

"Well, that's just not fair if we're the only ones blinded," Drake joked. Raising his hands, the sorcerer moved his hands and spoke a few words of magic. A streak of light shot towards the devil and exploded in a dazzling display of gold glitter.

Full round action to use a 4th level spell slot for Persistent spell Glitterdust. DC 23 Will save.

We were told not to fight except in self defense. Drake, for one, doesn't want to strike first.

"You don't want to break the rules further by fighting here, do you?" Drake asks, fumbling through the darkness to open the door.

Take my whole round to open the door, I reckon. Drake doesn't have Dispel Magic or a Daylight spell.

Drake spoke up, taking on an air of authority. "No, we did not receive the message, Beyschosz. Am I pronouncing that correctly? Please forgive me if I have not. However, we are here to tell you that your time was up. The librarian was very clear that you were only supposed to be here for 24 hours. According to them, though, you have been here for weeks? We're going to have to tell you to leave because we have business to conduct in this hall. I'm sure you understand, and plan on following the rules, right?"

"We can help you out with that," Drake said. "If they do not show that they value your time, then allow us to take care of your problem. After all, it sounds like this devil has no respect for neither order or schedule. It sounds like this devil has no respect for you."

After setting his jaw back into position from seeing the view, Drake approachedthe petitioner with Shamak. "Hello. We would really appreciate it if you could lead us to them, or point us in the right direction. Either works for us."

Real Shady Diplo: 1d20 + 30 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 30 - 2 = 46

When I hit preview, Shamak beat me by 49 seconds xD

"I agree, we should help in this matter." Drake nods.

"I believe we should head to the Stylite. If it's going to be such a sure thing, we might as well go to that one first. We have to wait for Yakomo anyway, so we could go see the Inevitable before that." Drake suggests.

Looking it over, Drake actually hasn't been in the Tapestry himself. Huh. I can get a post up describingthe Aspis tomorrow if no one else has though.

"My, lawless seems to be the right word for it. But also, how is that right? Is the Empty Court outside the realm of law?" Drake asked, confused.

Drake bows to the outsiders before wondering if, here in their home plane, that was the proper term for them. "We are Pathfinders contracted as representatives of the Church of Abadar. We seek an individual from our home plane who, we've been told, has not left the Empty Court in many of our lifetimes. She seems to be a guest here. I ask forgiveness; we weren't told of any needed authorization." Drake spoke humbly, and only stood up straight again when he was finished.

"We also probably look very out of place, but as long as we don't start a fight, we should be fine. As long as we don't get sidetracked, anyway." Drake says. Regardless, he looks around to see just how out of place they look here and to see if there are any groups staring too intensely.

"I believe, with that, we are ready to be on our way?" Drake looks to the team for affirmation.

"Thank you very much by the way. You've been very helpful, Esfir."

"Well, that is certainly interesting. Can you tell us what she was reprimanded for doing? And perhaps the date of that last entry? In top of that, my knowledge of the planes is rather limited, unless one of my associates could be kind enough to clue me in, could you tell us about the Empty Court and the axiomites? Drake put on his best smile. "And I must thank you for being so patient and helping us out with all of this."

"Please, don't be alarmed. We have an accord with the church and have their blessing to be here. My name is Drake. Are you stationed here to greet the priests as they arrive, or is our meeting a coincidence? What should we call you?" Drake looks around the room after he finishes speaking. His wife always told him he should be more observant.

The sorcerer nodded at the strange words of his companion, but did well to remember them.

Drake looked more amused than anything else by the curt response. Sometimes they had good information before a mission, other times they did not. Such was the life of a Pathfinder. "Aye, I'm willing to accept the obligation entrusted to us." Drake will take the satchel and skim through it to get an overall grasp on its contents.

Drake Finnigan is a rather handsome man, although odd once you take a closer look. His thick hair is long and dark green, with a hint of small leaves growing here and there. His skin appears tanned from a distance, but appears to hold qualities more like bark than flesh. His clothes are of fine quality and hold a good array of dark greens, earthen browns, and trimmed in gold. Right now he just appears to be amused by his loud comrade.

"Well, this certainly seems to be a point of intrigue. I admit, I have no mastery over knowledge of the planes. What can you tell us about this Golden City and the plane of Axis, as well as anything that could help us find Hao Jin?"

Drake will round out Shamak's knowledge on the Tapestry, adding that his wife was one of the Pathfinders who took part in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament.

Things you believe I should know about your PC: Drake Finnigan is a Human Verdant Sorcerer focusing on battlefield control and save-or suck/die spells as well as being great at social encounters. Persistent Spell + Greater Spell Focus Conjuration is a bread and butter. Also I can turn the party into TREEEEEEEEES

I'm in the process of updating Drake as an alias now. He's level 11, and this would be his PbP debut so I expect it will take some time due to the sheer amount of things high level characters get.

Drake rose from the table, drink already in hand, and approached the gathering crowd. "Pathfinders in a good mood, must mean a big success. I've got mine in hand, thank you," Drake said as he lifted his glass. "But perhaps some tales of the adventure to get the crowd further riled up?

Drake watched the fortune teller and her first tellee with interest, fingers drumming along the wooden bar. A quick interaction with the bartender netted him an extra glass of alcohol, and with it He approached Lynn. Sitting across from her, he set one of the glasses down where she could reach it.

"I'm Drake Finnigan. The Magnificent. Don't generally come across those with a talent for tarot. In this line of work, though, having even the slightest bit of warning is fortuitous, eh?" He swept his arm towards the constantly shuffling deck and took a drink. "I'll have a go after the elf, if it's not too much trouble." Drake flashed one of his winning smiles, one that most certainly meant there was going to be some sort of trouble. The good kind, at least.

Drake Finnigan the self-proclaimed Magnificent walked into the Flaxseed Lodge as the announcement Tarkin makes their announcement. "Well, well, that sounds right up my alley," he comments off-hand to no one in particular. The beautiful man smiled, showing off a row of straight, white teeth and approached the bar, running his hands through his brown, rather unruly hair. He would take the time to throw his hat into that particular ring after a drink.

Making his way through the crowded room, he took a seat at the bar. "Barkeep!" He barked cheerfully. "Your best wine, please and thank you. Top top shelf, if you would."

After flashing the barkeep his best smile, Drake turned to look upon the lounging Pathfinders before him, amused fondness found upon his face. "Even in times off, there's never a dull day at the Pathfinder Society," he claimed off-hand to no one in particular as he waited for his drink.
