I did some searching while waiting for info.

So there is no app like I'm searching for on the Android device. The App I thought my friends used is actually 2 apps, neither of which are available on Android.

Herolab has an app for the iOS, but they aren't going to make it for the Android until they are sure the iOS version has all the info it needs, and is for the most part bug free (which isn't the case right now). So it could very well be another few years before a worthwhile app is done for the Android.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I have used myth weaver in the past. Problem is though, the only difference between mythweaver, and the stack of papers I usually use, is that myth weaver is paperless. It basically moves all the pen&paper stuff onto the computer. If I could, I would just take my computer so I could use herolab.

I need an app that is like PFRPG rd, but for android.

So I just got an Android tablet, and I'm trying to find a good app that will help keep track of my character so I don't have to carry around a bunch of papers.

I tried the hero lab on android, but it's very lacking. I can get a character set up, but only if I import the character. It won't let me make any changes, and is just over all lacking a lot of options.

Anyone else know of a good pathfinder app that will allow me to make changes to the character, select spells, add/remove gear/gold. An app that works kinda like hero lab does on the PC.

My friends all use PFRPG rd, but it seems like that is only for apple products. I really wish I could get that, or something like that.

Okay, I get it now. Damnit, I was hoping there would be something that would allow me to keep all the bonuses from each piece of gear I have.

Okay, so if none of my gear has wild armor bonus. When I wild shape into say a bird, I would not be able to use my weapons (Which I already knew), I would lose the bonuses from my armor, but I would still get the bonuses from rings, and necklaces? Is armor considered anything you wear on your body other than the rings/necklace. Sorry if I'm a bit slow on this, I just want to know exactly what I'm doing before I go to my DM and say "Hey, I want to do this so it's even harder for you to kill me than it already is!"

So it's an enhancement that I would have applied to a current piece of armor then?

What constitutes as armor in this case. I figure I wouldn't be able to apply it to rings, weapons, or necklaces. What other items would it not work on?

I'm having trouble finding an item, and I'm hoping someone knows if it exists or not. I play a druid, and I'm wondering if there is an item I could get that would allow me to keep the bonuses from my gear when I shape shift.

I'll check out the Carrion Crown. Sounds interesting.

Something easy to run. One main story line, with side quests along the way. You know how in skyrim there is 1 major quest line, but each town has it's own set of quests? Not looking for a huge world, just something that takes place in like a small country or something.

So I just recently got into DMing for a friend doing a solo game. I think I'm doing ok cause we are both having fun. I'm wanting to DM a game with a group though, and I'm trying to figure out what would be a good pre-made campaign that isn't to overly complex for a noob DM to run. Something short and simple, but has enough to be entertaining.

I had been considering that. Thinking about how strong her character is. I was thinking of just using items that would be used by the enemy for the most part, but there are times where I might want to let her roll for something.

So just started DMing a game for the first time because A friend asked me to. It's a solo game, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I just can't seem to figure out how loot rolls work. I got the first part down I think.

In the Core Rule book, page 461 table 15-2. The player rolls a DC 100, and you choose what ever item comes up with the corresponding number. Say it's armor and shields. I'd go down to table 15-3 and they would roll again. I would go to the number they rolled for the size of their character and would find out if it's a +armor or shield or what ever.

That's about as far as I get, I have no clue what to do if they roll high enough to get specific armor or shield, or a special ability.

Or if they roll scrolls for their first item. I know where the table is to find out what level of scroll, but no clue where to go to figure out specifically what scroll.

If someone could help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

So I'm playing a druid in my pathfinder group. I recently got the ability to summon Mephits. While looking at these creatures I saw that they have an ability where once per day they can summon a lvl 2 Mephit.

I'm having trouble finding the rules concerning this. My DM told me that I can have the Mephit I summon (4th level) use this spell (CL 6 spell). My question is, would I be able to make the summoned Mephit also cast this spell and summon another level 2 Mephit, and then that new one summon another, next one summons another, and so on. Or is there a limit to this?

I really like that idea, I think that is what I'll work on building up towards. Thanks for the help, it's greatly appreciated.

Currently my druid is lvl 5. I had been going for a build my friend had told me about that sounded like fun, but in the end I forgot most of it and decided to focus more on animal wildshaping. I do how ever really enjoy using spells in my wildshape form.

str 11
dex 18
con 14
int 14
wis 14
cha 14

Feats: Natural Spell, toughness.

The way I was going at the start is the reason for the 18 in dex. Up until now I had only played ranger class, and was wanting to do a spell caster type for my next character. Druid seemed to be the simplest caster type that didn't require me to be some sort of good. It wasn't till a while after I made the druid that I learned more about it, and learned how I really wanted to run the druid, but by then I already had my stats locked in. I'm notoriously bad about putting certain stats in the wrong place...

So with how I have somewhat borked things up already, what would be some future feats to shoot for. I'm mainly trying to get my AC up at the moment, and have no real idea about what kind of gear I should be getting. Just now starting to work on understanding the rest of pathfinder besides just the character part.

So, I'm trying to figure out what feats to take to maximize my wildshape abilities. One of the questions I have currently is, is there any feat or enchant I can put on my armor that would allow me to still get the AC bonus from my armor in wild shape. Also, what are some recommended feats that I should get for best wild shape usage aside from the natural spell feat.

alright, so with a +4, I would get a bonus lvl 1, and I would be allowed to use 1 lvl 2 at lvl 1? And the +4 has to be in which stat? Sorry if I'm a bit slow at getting this.

Ok, another question I had. If it's not to much trouble. I was told that if I had a modifier, I could use more then just 1 1st lvl spells. So if I had a +4 modifier, I would be able to use the 1 1st lvl I get, +4 more spells at lvl 1?

Oh, I see. How do I know which lvls I get the bonus feat?

Trying to get more into pathfinder. Last several games I have played fairly easy classes. Well my ranger died recently leaving me open for a new character, and I was thinking about running a Sorcerer. While looking through the bloodlines I came across bonus feats.

Such as
Bonus Feats: Agile Maneuvers, Defensive Combat
Training, Enlarge Spell, Great Fortitude, Improved
Great Fortitude, Skill Focus (Craft [any]), Spell Focus,
Toughness.

My question is, are those feats I get at lvl 1 for having the bloodline they are listed in?

It's the Protean bloodline out of the advanced rule book.
