Draahzin follows Raine on his pony. He carries a head too, in case Raine isn't intimidating enough. Sometimes a little creature with a dead head is more frightening than a giant.
After Raine has spoken he adds:
'You shit-eaters dogs! Scavenging boneheads! You kill women and children! Do you have enough balls to fight? Yeah a real fighter not a cry-baby! Now come on, I'm gonna smash your heads into pulp!'
I used to play on something similar (don't remember the name) it's good when you have people in the same area, less so when you are too far apart, playing in the middle of the night isn't good when you have roomates :)
'Your idea is a good start Mia. But as Tolus pointed we could be overwhelmed by a pack of rabid dogs … So I suggest that someone like you Tolus goes to the tower, throws some heads and adds some vocal insults too. So if the chief comes out we slaughter him. If he launches his crowd on you, you run away and disappear some times later. We climb the tower and kill the dog as you distract his cronies.'
Then Draahzin looks at Mia: 'If you are hungry you should just eat. Fighting on an empty stomach is folly.'
More skills could be nice, but it's not a strong need. IIRC I was willing to try a battle herald (in the distant future), so it'll had a few skills to.
'Tolus it's up to you to discover where that leader is. Track him. Then we'll bring it down.', says Draahzin with resolution.
'Raine do you have a lance? It's truly efficient to kill people from horseback.'
'Raine and me will charge him. If we're mounted I believe we can deal some very crippling blows to him. We just need to hope it'll be enough, else … we're probably dead.'
Draahzin shakes his head slowly.
'We can't hope for that, we need to be sure. Yaline do you know about Anubites' customs? Would a warchief wear something special?'
Not a bad idea, but they are strong so just setting it ablaze would probably not suffice. We'll need some very inflammable material to turn it into an inferno swiftly.
How many Anubite do I see? And can I extrapolate their numbers with that sample?
The kobold comes back from the stables. 'Simoom is well and undisturbed. The Anubites are drawing everybody, who doesn't fight into cart. I didn't see Hadule or Azamad …'
'Raine, you are in no condition to go check on Simoom. My wounds are shallow, so, with your permission I'll go check on our beasts. You stay here and let Yaline and Mia get you back from the Land of Dust and Bones.', says the kobold with anxiety and concern in his raspy voice. 'Meanwhile if someone goes upstair, can he bring back my armor? Going outside naked does not seem smart.…'
