This appears to a be problem with Adobe Acrobat. Please see this thread, particularly my post there.

The fix is to reinstall Acrobat, then repersonalize, and redownload. If you've tried this and continue to have issues, please let me know and include your OS, your decompression utility, and your PDF reader.

I am not using Acrobat Reader. I am using Adobe Acrobat Professional 7. I repersonalized and downloaded using two different machines with two different versions of Acrobat Professional and had the same problem. I also have tried to open with Acrobat Reader and the same problem has occured. As stated previously, I have never encountered this problem with any of Paizo's PDF dowloads. I am not trying to sound defensive or obnoxious, but I suspect there may be a problem with the PDF itself in some capacity. I make this observation based on personal experience. I am a graphic designer for a newspaper and have worked with PDF files for over ten years (again, please do not read this as pompous or obnoxious) and have encounter more problems than I can count or you really care to hear about. It could be possible that my Acrobat Professional is corrupted on one machine, but I am uncertain as to how it would be the same on two different machines?

My OS is Windows 2000 on one machine and Windows XP on the other in case it is relevant.

My setup is the exact same I have used for 29 past PDFs. First time I have had the problem. I am not using Vista. jZip or Foxit, however. I did not try to extract it, however. I was opening directly from the zipped file. I will try extracting and see what happens. Thanks.

Extracted file is exactly the same.

From a different perspective...

Downloaded the "single" file yesterday, and re-personalized it about 10 minutes ago and downloaded it again. Extracted it and viewed it. Everything is fine from both downloads.

Windows Vista, jZip, and Foxit PDF reader.

I don't think it is the file, but something in youse guys setup.

I was out of the country last week and had placed a hold on my mail. The US Postal Service showing its usual efficiency, failed to hold my mail. When I returned home, yesterday evening, it looked as if someone had gone through my mail. I did not find anything from Paizo. Accroding to my order history, order #1335654 shipped on the 21st. I always get my shippments within 5 days of it being shipped. I am concerned that someone may have taken the shipping envelope, not knowing what it was. Can the order be tracked to determine if it had been delivered? If it was shipped, and I did not receive it, can I have another copy of Mother of Flies and Andoran shipped to me? Thanks in advance for your help.

Your order shipped via the standard postal rate, which is not a trackable shipping method. The estimated delivery time is 4 to 8 business days for this method, and today would be day 8 since it shipped, so it may still show up at any time. If you still have not seen your package by the end of next week, let me know and we can work from there.

I have moved your copy of the Core Rulebook to a separate order to ensure it ships right away. However, it is our current goal to have all of our subscription items ship at the same time in August (so no one gets their order for the Core Rulebook held up by their other subscriptions), so there's a chance this new order may get automatically combined back with your other subscription shipments if they all go out at once.

If it works out that the Core Book can ship with the other items for August, that would be great. Just one big bundle of awesome birthday present for me! Thanks.

I love the idea of holding items for one lower shipping cost. I do, however, need to have my copy of the fabulous and much anticipated Pathfinder Hardcover Core Rule Book as soon as inhumanly possible. Please, seperate this from the other items in my monthly shipment for August so I can have my copy as close to August 13th as possible. By the way, my birthday is August 1st, so think of this as a birthday present. It will be a couple of weeks late, but I will have to live with that. If you check your Order History, you will see that they have, in fact, been canceled. :)

I placed an order for 2 copies of the Pathfinder Beta RPG. It is order number 997417. I would like to alter the order and add an additional copy to the order for a total of 3. I would like to have all three shipped to gether to save on the shipping. Is this possible or do I have to place a new order for one copy? I would like to keep my billing method the same. Thanks.
