Have you had the opportunity to see their products in person? They do a good job covering the convention circuit (See their roadshow schedule here: http://www.geekchichq.com/roadshow/) so you might luck out and have something they are attending that is somewhat convenient to attend.

For a decision that hinges on personal facts (gaming habits, intended use, available space, existing/planned decor, budget, etc) you'd be better off having a conversation with them directly anyway. They're a friendly bunch so don't be shy!

I have a few furniture pieces they've produced and can definitely say they get the job done with skill that surpasses a high school shop class ;). So your bank account might be better off if you build it yourself, but your gaming experience might not be.

Best of luck with whatever path you take!

I get around 8 cases of DnD minis per set. From Harbinger to current that amounted to a big mess of minis.

I tamed the beast by keeping the minis seperated by set and storing them in card houses.

I have to store huges seperately, but it takes care of the complete sets very nicely.

To quickly locate a suitable mini for play I have a partially completed search system that allows me to look up a mini by it's appearance (ie weapon, armor, race, type, size, etc).
