Thank you for the lovely and very entertaining storytelling GM Kludde. Would you be willing, if the group also desires to continue the PFS adventures?

While Slera is preocupied with the supposed leader of the band, Dominique tries to stop Larkin from bleeding but it seams his wounds were a little too much for the inquisitor.

"I fear there's nothing we can do for this one." He throws his rope to Will "Here, use this. We can question her later."

Visiting Austria this week, please do forgive me if posting goes a little slow.

Dominique yelps in pain as the acid makes contact first with his clothes then with his skin. Reflexively he aims his bow but sees Hallie fall down and he restrains himself from killing the last one from that group eve though she has done so much harm to him. "Unless anyone knows the reason for the surprise attack I suggest we should to question her."

Seeing that they were outnumbering the enemy three to one Dominique became calmer arming his longbow with two arrows which he would release on the man in front of him.

Dominique tries to get his weapon in range of the enemy but to avail. Unpleased by the current situation and how the mysterious band has caught them unaware the inquisitor throws the blade on the ground, draws his bow and shoots at the furthest enemy, and yelling "Duck, Bacon! Duck!"

Seeing Zarunkumar advancing in the direction of the enemies he casts a spell touching her vestments. Then, instead of going for his bow he draws a sword with numerous holes in it. Zarun, Will, I do understand that I'm asking a lot but I might need at least one of them alive.

Dominique turned around for a second enough to see Brayden's little experiment. "May I suggest using the metal chest as a container for that stuff? Also if you do plan on spilling the whole jar on the floor, please do give a warning. " With that said he continues bashing at the door.

Human Inquisitor 1 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | HP 9/9 | F +1 R +3 W +3 | Init +5 | Perc +7

"A wand of knock?! Useless waste of arcane craftsmanship." Dominique exclaims throwing the item over his shoulder as he tries once more to make himself heard through the door by bashing it with his fists forgetting completely about the remaining key in the jar.

The inquisitor nodded in appreciation to the spectacle made by the rest of team then took the wand looking at it carefully and leaving the maps to Brayden and Slera. He got closer to the door and knocked with his fist at the door and started yelling Open up if you still want to have your door intact! We got your blasted maps!

That sounds fine with me. Oh and if you fall, be careful not to fall on the glass jar. Just let me just give it another try at cutting the wire first. Dominique nodes his head approvingly then stretches his muscles releasing another arrow.

A whistle came from Dominique's mouth seeing the key so hanging so high above them. He shoots an arrow towards it more for amusement than really trying to hit it. He then shrugs. "I guess, that's that. Should we start rationing food or do you have some unknown means of getting to it?"

Perhaps this one opens the metal chest Dominique speaks looking distastefully at the golden key.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12Not gonna happen.
For the moment Dominique is content with waiting until Brayden checks the new key. But if it comes to pushing or braking it with an arrow he will smash the glass from a distance.

Scarab Sages

Human Inquisitor 1 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | HP 9/9 | F +1 R +3 W +3 | Init +5 | Perc +7

Dominique pushes the solid metal chest next to the glass container expecting to see if the blue key really matched the red laqued chest before taking any action. He had doubts that the key would open any chest and was preparing both morally and physically for repeating his effort then for striking the glass in the right place.

Well... that didn't work. Can we NOW break the corrosive fluid on top of it? Hell we can even put both of the chests near it and bet on which one dissolve the first. He sights and walks agitated around the room thinking of ways to get out of the room. Though you might just want to check if it fits the other first.

Dominique's face showed signs of contempt fallowing Braden's remark however he had not denied the statement. You are quite right. Arrows are not an universal solution. They are just means, like many others. However, they do have their uses. With that said he shot two arrows
towards the creature that bit Brayden.

So what you're saying is that the liquid in the container could is not good for my skin. Well I guess I have to believe you on that but how will it fare against the metal chest's skin?

Dominique then turns his attention to the basket and after seeing that there's nothing moving inside it, he shrugs lowers his bow then gets closer. Might have been just my imagination. My aim is getting bad, now I'm starting to hear noises. This locked space is getting to me. He gets closer to Slera noticing her hesitation. Look, if you think there's something between the wraps and don't want to just grab the basket and throw it on the other side of the room.

So I see they locked us in until we find the map's location. Who's up for giving a taste of their own medicine in after we get the map? Dominique raises his hand then looks at the others questioningly .

So... let's get back to the matter of hand. Thank you Brayden for volunteering to play with the chest's traps. My guess is that the smooth copper chest is not exactly what it seams to be. It's reeking with illusion magic. It might just open in some other manner than what we expect it to. As for the basket...

Dominique moves his hand over the basket then takes a few steps back aims at the basket and releases two shots, the comments on his accuracy. Please don't mind me, just checking if there is no invisible creatures trapped here with us. Oh and just to let you know, I don't think it is a good idea to put your hand in basket.

I hate being confined in this place. Just wait till I get out of here... That alchemist looks shady and there's also something fishy with the half elf.

Dominique waits patiently at a distance for Brayden to trigger any possible traps then moves to check what is in the wicker basket. Surely if the map would have been in one of the chests and if the chest had been opened the Osirian would have not required our help.
Oh my, there are five totally different containers. I wonder which one holds the map.

I will have to live with the shame of not being able to able to beat the first monster in the campaign.

Before approaching the others Dominique leans closer to Will whispering in his ear: "I presume you still have the dagger. Keep it safe, we might still need it one day." He then moves towards the larger group "I sure hope that splinting the medicine evenly for the orphans wasn't a challenge for four capable Pathfinders, was it? Now then, what are the remaining tasks? Does anyone have a preference?"

Scarab Sages

Human Inquisitor 1 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | HP 9/9 | F +1 R +3 W +3 | Init +5 | Perc +7

With smile on his face Dominique waves to the imp then fallows Will through the door, then makes sure it is shut.

Yes milady , we were successful indeed. We even took great care to avoid unnecessary injury to your slightly uncooperative servant. However... it brings me great sadness, great sadness my mistress and I hope you understand our situation but we might have to report this small accident to the Society. I for one COMPLETELY understand your situation, but I'm afraid there could be some influential Pathfinders who might not like hearing that one of their most precious artifacts has fallen in the hands of a being from the lesser planes."

Dominique grabs a chair and places it in front of the door then takes a seat keeping his smile on his face. "Now, now... I'm not an unreasonable man , in fact I'm just a simpleton. And you know what simpletons like? Tales! Especially of magical items that can summons servants and how certain fine ladies can come to posses such items.

He takes a deep breath and looks towards Will, putting his hand on his shoulder before continuing speaking.
"Yet I'm afraid that my friend here, Mister Bacon is of a totally different sort. Strong willed he is, and certainly much much harder to please. Isn't that right Will?"

Dominique runs to the left side of the bed but he runs out of breath before he could catch the rat. He fires two arrows at the little critter. "This is not working! Perhaps we should put a backpack over it or find a stray cat." He stops complaining for a second and looks back dumbfounded. Wait, if the imp transformed into a rat. Then where's our chest?

What would we need to roll to grab the rat?

Scarab Sages

Human Inquisitor 1 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | HP 9/9 | F +1 R +3 W +3 | Init +5 | Perc +7

Dominique just barely managed to dodge away and starts shooting another two arrows as soon as he got his composure. I wouldn't have imagined this creature could be so troublesome. Invisible or not you can't dodge forever.

Strength: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

"Listen Will, It's not like I don't fancy you making imp soup. It might even taste great, but let's see all the options first: He starts counting with his right hand.

One. We don't open the wardrobe. Tie it with a rope. Spare a few copper for carrying it to the headquarters and let the guys from there deal with it.

Two. I'm not quite sure how long invisibility will last but I know it's not indefinite so we can wait some time. Shake the wardrobe heavily, maybe turn it a few sides. Then you can just grab whatever is in there. And we may even put a pink ribbon on it and give it back to the Chelish lady.

Three. You can make a small hole in the wardrobe enough for an arrow to go through and we'll make a porcupine of the fiend. So which do you prefer?"

Scarab Sages

Human Inquisitor 1 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | HP 9/9 | F +1 R +3 W +3 | Init +5 | Perc +7

For the moment let's just turn the wardrobe with the doors facing the ground. I don't know how long I'll be able to hold this doors if the imp starts pushing again. Once we do that we can make a plan and argue about it while sitting comfortably on the wardrobe.

Scarab Sages

Human Inquisitor 1 | AC 17 T 13 FF 14 | HP 9/9 | F +1 R +3 W +3 | Init +5 | Perc +7

Dominique shrugged. "The obvious route would be slashing the beast's head off but... I feel slightly uneasy sending one of our collaborator's servants to another plane in the first mission. I say that while one grabs it's attention the other one should remove the chest and we could open it once we know it's safe."

Dominique trows a suspicious glance at the halfling but does not go looking for the fellow once he was out of his vision and jokes with Will
about the disadvantages of having such a large mustache.

He listened to what the para-countess had to say but he couldn't help but let his thoughts wonder about what kind of relation was between Valsin and the woman in front of him.

When hearing about the previous Pathfinders he averts his gaze and looks across the room. "We could almost say that you are borrowing these items for the new recruits." He loughs for a second or two then his expression turns blunt. "Seriously though we need to check the contents before carrying it to the headquarters. I hope you understand."

His eyebrows just shoot up when hearing that they'll have to confront her servant: "I suppose you telling him to just give us the trinket would not be an option."

He grabs the letter opener and examines the item " It looks fancy, but I'm afraid we might need something larger. Will, draw your sword. We need to educate a servant of his rightful place.
