About Dolgan Powderbeard

backstory:
"Give me yer gun, Dolgan!"
"But Captain, it exploded!"
"Exactly my point!"

That was the day Dolgan left the city of Stonebastion. Dolgan was adopted and raised by kindly Clockwork Gnomes, who showed him the wonders and secrets of technology. He joined the 6th Battalion, the Eagle Eyes, and fought the Underdwellers with his comrades. After a few months, he introduced the musket he was designing, but his superiors immediately laughed and destroyed it for scrap, telling him to go back to using a crossbow.

That night, he asked his friend, the battalion smith, to help him build muskets for the entire battalion.

A week passed, and the Underdwellers came back. The Battalion all loaded their muskets and destroyed the first wave - but then their firearms exploded.

Dolgan was exiled from the city, and he has been traveling ever since, vowing to find a place for innovative dwarves to live freely.

appearance:

A small dwarf stands before you, wearing a black leather hat, coat, gloves, boots, and what seems to be a studded leather shirt. He carries a musket on his back, and various other unfinished guns are stowed around his person. Soot and what looks like gunpowder residue cover his face, and his bushy beard and unkempt dirty red hair are singed. Despite his battered appearance, there is a fire alight in his eyes, which you can see even through his protective goggles.
