"I'm not sure. Do you know anything of healing? What about Gawlak?"

Hmm, our interrogation goes well. Dohrlok tries to revive the unconcious kobold, though with little success. "Corvin, try and control yourself - your conduct is unbecoming of a warrior."

Heal check, untrained: roll 3 +2 = 5

So I noticed. ;-)

Dohrlok, while hardly a friend to kobolds, drags it away from the somewhat uncontrolled Corvin. He finds the display of petulant rage rather distasteful - humans, no decorum.

"Gawlak, I think Greis could use some healing - as indeed could I.

Dohrlok (somewhat belately) grabs the kobold in a firm grip, pinning its arms behind its back and inflicting a little light pain to loosen its tongue. Kobold scum.....

What do you want it to be?

Dohrlok decides that a prisoner to question might be useful once the fight is concluded, and attacks using the mountain mist strike on the remaining kobold within striking distance, though he misses, his blow whistling over its head.

Strike for subdual damage: Attack roll = 8 + 2 = 10 = miss

Not sure you can use both attacks on an AoO.

Dohrlok lashes out at the kobold that attacked him, missing in the confusion.

Roll of 12 + 2 - 2 = 12

Dohrlok charges into combat against his diminutive foes, executing the falling mountain charge manoeuvre.

I'm assuming that the creatures are close enough together that I can execute a flurry at the end of his charge, splitting the 2 attacks between two of the creatures. If not, assume a single attack using the results from the first attack and adding 2 to the to hit roll for his non-flurry. Rolls to hit: (first attack) 12 + 2 for attack bonus + 2 for charging - 2 for flurry = 14 and (second attack) 19 + 2 + 2 - 2 = 21. Damage (assuming either hits) are 4 + 2 = 6 for the first and 3 + 2 = 5 for the second. After the charge, my AC is now 12.

I suggest that Arctaris should play PCs as NPC if there is a significant delay (say, a day or so) in tactical encounters. My dwarven chum can't always easily make it, and it would save holding things up if the smack-down is in progress. Just a suggestion.

Dohrlok springs to his feet and scans the area for intruders.

(Initiative: roll 16 + 2 = 18; Spot roll: roll 11 + 2 = 13; also, while it is dark I can see them with darkvision within 60' if they are not trying to hide)

Dohrlok watches Corvin go to sleep and hopes he won't be too sore in the morning after sleeping in his armour. Foolish warriors - self-belief and capability is the only armour required by a disciple of the Stone Fists. And it is much easier to sleep in.

With that comforting thought, Dohrlok drifts off......

Dohrlok has a frugal meal of dwarven oat biscuits washed down with water from his skin. He runs through a brief excercise routine before settling down for his brief sleep before his turn at guard duty.

I am happy to take watch alone.

Indeed - I am eager to continue my journey. I also agree we should find this architect. I am ready.

For those interested, I carry rations for a few days, a waterskin, bedroll, backpack and two daggers.

"I already have supplies sufficient for my purpose. I will retire to the temple of Pelor to meditate. Please let me know when you are ready to depart for the manor"

It's about 7.30am in the UK.

"I carry my personal supplies with me. But it would be unwise to approach the manor unprepared. Perhaps they have information in the town which will aid us."

Just to let you know, I won't be posting much this weekend as I'm off the the mother-in-law's.
