The index website is fine but I am wondering if we could get a more throrough and professional index here on the paizo site. The job that every one is doing for the dungeon and dragon mags (including the new and cool website) is outstanding but I think you guys need more work. So a really good index would be FANTASTIC!
MORE COMICS PLEASE! I like downer. Alot. I like the art I like the characters. Pretty neat. I am hoping that there will by an article giving stats and info on the characters and items presented in the strip. Maybe if you added a little crunch to the strip more folks would be intrested? However the best comics are Tony Mosleys. Zogonia (and to a lesser extent Mt Zogon) is absolutly hiliarious. I love it. "A deranged untrustworthy human" classic. Tony M writes his comic strips like me and my buddies play the game. MORE COMICS PLEASE!
I cant mount my maps. Any of them. We play in my dinig room. My wife wont allow it. Anyway my new map has a BIG FRICKING RIP in it. Not that big really, about 1/2 inch long and 1/8 of an inch wide. But it still has a rip. :( Looks nice though. Cant wait for the other parts. Whats the scale again? 1 hex equals?
After work last night I found Wil talking about being a geek on VH1's Best of Times "Geeks" show. It was cool to see him on the show. I did not see him mention DND but I did not catch the entire show. It did mention that he was the author of a book however. I forget the name but I may have to pick it up.
Yamo did you recieve your copy via mail. I thought the game shops recieved copies of the mag before most of the subscribers (thats why I let my subscription falter so I could pick it up earlier at the FLGS). Have paizo changed anything about the shipping? Has anyone else picked up Dungeon 118 at there FLGS? Really cant wait to get my hands on the map.
DND for me is about more then just playing the game. Having been a fan for so long I can barely contain my glee when I hear mention of DnD in other media sources. NPR plays a clip of canadian rappers singing about bad ass DM's, BBC world news broadcasts the sounds of an actual DND game in progress, Vin Diesal talking about his character in Details magazine or on Conan Obrians late show. These things thrill me. When I first read Wils article I was thrilled again. I can remember when my own stepfather bought me a set of used DND books for my 12th birthday, being far to eager to wait until I had read the books, my step father GMed my first game. I enjoy Wil's article and have found it in many ways a mirror of my own roleplaying experiences. (side note: My step father learned to play in prison. They could only use dominos for random number determination becuse dice were banned. So my first game involed no dice, dominos instead My wife had a huge crush on Wil when she was a kid. She wrote him a fan letter and received a letter of return. She keeps it locked away with other momentos of her childhood. She enjoyed seeing Wil in the magazine way more then myself. The article is the only intrest my wife has ever shown towards DND, after years of trying to convince her that its fun I will take what I can get.
I look forward to more Eberron articles. There is no way they wont cover the new campaign setting with a few articles. Yet the only article I can recall concerning Eberron (not including the countdown to Eberron) is the Quari(sp?) dream creatures. It is very easy to convert material from one campaign to another, the articles thatDragon presents are never that capamign specific. At least they are not to hard to convert. Give me Eberron or Give me...something else...with cool stuff...like dragons...a few dungeons...maps are nice. |
