Recently my party was storming Ft. Rannick in the Hook Mountain Massacre for the ROTRL adventure path.

We had 4 rangers in the party. Myself, and 3 NPC's (Shalelu Andasonah, Vale Temros, and Jakardros Sovark). We initially snuck up to the walls, and positioned ourselves on the walls and towers, while the rest of the party assaulted one of the gates. The plan was to get the ogres bunched up, and then we'd attack them, catching them in a pincer.

Turns out there was about 3 times the ogres we thought there would be, and that plan went right out the window. All 4 of us were seperated and fighting for our lives. I was in a tower, and had multiple ogres climbing up trying to get to me. I'm an archer, I don't belong in close combat and they would have made very short work of me. So two of the ogres climb over the top, and I have a choice to make. My back is at the edge of the tower, it's about a 30' drop. I can fire 3 arrows that round with a full attack action. So I take a 5' step and "throw" myself over the wall, while I make my attack action. 2 arrows drop the first ogre, and the third crits dropping him as well. It felt like a very cinematic scene. Enough so that we had it commemorated in art, thoug the artist didn't quite capture all of the elements I was hoping for.

Posting as a player, not a GM.

We've had three deaths in our Party so far. All different players.

Class/Level: Wizard 5
Adventure: The Skinsaw Murders
Catalyst: Suicide Compulsion Haunt
Story: Having made their way into the Manor, the party begins going room to room, obstensibly looking for the culprit of the murders, but really loot whoring. The wizard is going room to room casting Detect Magic, and finds a dagger that glows. Without a second though he goes to pick it up. A failed Will and Fortitude save a few seconds later, he's gone before the Paladin can get to him.

Class/Level: Samurai 8
Adventure: Massacre on Hook Mountain
Catalyst: Ogres on Skulls Crossing
Story: We had cleared Fort Rannick of the ogres, but both surviving Black Arrows died in that battle. Flood waters had already destroyed a portion of Turtleback Ferry, so the dam was our next stop, to see what had happened. We fought our way past the Ettin, and find a group of Ogres on top of the dam tearing it up. The Samurai charges the healthy looking ogre, and takes a full on crit to the face. He had taken a couple hits in the Ettin fight so wasn't at full hit points, and he gets crumpled. The Ogre also had the feat that let him push characters back when he hits, thus launching the Samurai off of the dam. He (and the two Black Arrows) were eventually raised, but the Samurai has since retired from adventuring.

Clasas/Level: Fighter/Ranger 10 (myself)
Adventure: Fortress of the Stone Giants
Catalyst: Longtooth (Red Dragon)
Story: Sandpoint is under attack, and my character specializes in Archery. He sees the Dragon flying around town, and had just set the town hall on fire, which was full of citizens fleeing the onslaught. Being the only one who could reasonably expect to hurt the dragon while it was flying (has a +1 Icy Burst Comp Bow), he engages and draws the dragons full attention. The rest of the party is engaged with the giants. A pretty nasty fight goes down, but in the end the dragon was able to deliver more hurt then I was, and I went down just as the party Sorcerer was joining the fight, and the dragon flees. Was brought back to life after the battle, used some downtime to regain levels, and now lvl 11 and plan on hunting the dragon down for round 2 after we finish up in Jorgenfist.

Seems someone else already asked/answered this.

How do you guys do it?

I've got the Beginner Box, the Bestiary 1, and the Shattered Star collections so far. That's hundreds of pieces, and when taken off of the original sheets, it can take up a lot of space.

Organizing and the like isn't to difficult, but I've got so many, I'd like to find a better system then the sandwich baggies that I was using. What do you guys use?

Looking for a group to play with. I am willing to GM the Rise of the Runelords or DM for Eberron.

Just got to Campbell recently. Looking for a group. I'm in the middle of ROTRL's with an online group, but I'd definitely be game for something else in Pathfinder.
