Excellent idea! I hope this helps me find some gamers!

EDIT: Also, nice avatar Hugo!

I posted here before, but I guess it didn't show up. I would be interested in playing in The Pathfinder Society, or even just a home game whatever. I live in St. Paul, fairly close to The Source. I'm not sure if I would want to DM or not, but I'm certainly looking for a gaming group to join.

Thanks. I tend to ended up with a bit of extra time because my players have baaad attendance issues.

I made a full scale playable map using just a bit of photoshop, scissors and tape. Each room is its own page so I can place them down as the next doors are opened. Here's a couple pics, let me know what you think.

Avner in my game has so far successfully avoided all the fights on the ship.

My PCs also interrogated the water mephit, one of them can speak aquan. They didn't find out much though, as I had the mephit basically say it was pickled before and didn't know who released it.

Thanks for sharing what you've done with the Jade Ravens!

I had my party meet them again before they went to Krakens Cove in the 2nd adventure. The Jade Ravens had just returned from Cauldron and Tolin was giving his report to Lavinia. One of my players is trying to woo Lavinia so he instantly saw Tolin as competition for her affection and tried interrupting his report several times. I played up Kaskus and Zan as being a bit overly fond of their professions, maybe to the point of not quite unhinged. The PCs showed great respect towards Liamae despite the fact that she was downright rude and haughty. So they are already starting to form opinions about the Jade Ravens now, so when they show up later, I can develop them even more.

When my pcs encountered the Jade Ravens the first time, in the first session of the AP, they just kinda shrugged their shoulders. I want to develop this group more so they are cooler!

We are in between There is no Honor and Bullywug Gambit right now, doing some sidequests and 'gearing up.' I'd like to have the Jade Ravens return from Cauldron sometime before the PCs leave to Krakens Cove and I want to give them a dramatic entrance.

I feel like the group has a lot of potential, but they weren't really fleshed out much in the sidebar. I'm going to give them more personality and depth, and want to know what the other DMs have done with the Jade Ravens. Give me some ideas please!

me too, me too!

I think I am going to use a subtle approach, and let the players come to their own conclusions. They're not going to be seeing Vanthus for awhile yet, since we're just starting Bullywug Gambit.

Adventure:There is No Honor
Location: Peril Under Parrot Island
Character: Fenric of Lorac (Aventi Rogue 1)
Poor Fenric was eaten by a ravenous zombie pirate because his cleric friend couldn't seem to turn undead (he rolled under a 5 on his check at least 3 times in a row) Fenric was in good standing with the gods and has been resurected. Surely, he won't die again over the course of this adventure, for I am a kind DM. ;)

My plans as of right now are to continue playing 3.x for this year. I just started running the Savage Tide Adventure Path. We're on the 2nd part already, but I imagine it'll take quite some time to get all the way through it. If I finish that I'll either let someone else DM or run one more shorter campaign of my own devising.

I'll probably at least pick up the 4e PHB in the next year, but I don't plan on switching systems for awhile.
