It does seem strange that someone capable of making one of these would want so little reward for their effort though. Is that taken into account? Does potential player abuse trump plausible availability? 1,250gp profit on 26,250gp investment + time and effort seems... off

I have a further question that isn't strictly appropriate to this thread but is linked in my mind. So please accept my apologies if it makes for an untidy forum.

Is there any likeliness of bundle offers occurring on the older, complete adventure paths or other similar products? My personal interest is for the existing adventure paths, Rise of the Rune Lords, Curse of the Crimson Throne & Second Darkness.
