Hello-

I am an experienced player, having moved to the NE Illinois / SE Wisconsin area last year, and now looking for a game.

I am most comfortable with D&D editions (any) with my preference in Pathfinder/3.5/4

I am also open to possibly some other systems. I have really been enjoying The Walking Dead, and playing in something post-apocalyptic or similar would be fun as well.

I also would be open to possibly playing something online, though I would need some assistance in the hows of that.

I can travel, but need to plan ahead to have access to transportation. Also, in the future, hosting gaming would not be out of the question.

I ran into the same issue (no pun intended) yesterday.

I work at a bookstore - and All of our copies came sans the postermap - which I also would not have realized was missing if not for the cover blurb.

I'm curious as to what can/should be done - and what I should tell any customers about this issue (again - no pun intended)

I am looking to start a new FR campaign in the Rochester (East side) area. I am probably looking for between 1-3 people, as I beleive I have some players already. I am thinking that we will use 3.5 edition; a couple of my existing intended players are familiar with this - as I am not as familiar. The campaign is in the early stages of planning - and I would like to generate some player input in the planning stages to get an idea of what sorts of things the players would be looking to get out of the game. Some of the last year's Dungeon articles by Monte Cook will be very useful in this!

A little background about me - I have been a Realms fan for as long as its been out - and have quite an extensive collection of sourcebooks, both specifically FR - and general D&D. I have been gaming in one form or another since (I beleive) 1979. I'm 36 - so I'm in some ways set in my ways, as my unfamiliarity with 3.0/3.5 demonstrates.
