Devrin prepares for battle, casting Protection from Evil on himself.

"Well Erylium, we need to take Tsuto back to Sandpoint for questioning. I think it advisable that you hand him over now." replies Devrin.
"And who are you?" asks Devrin tired of silly games.
Devrin nods to Kyran, ready for trouble should it appear from above.
As his stance suggests, Devrin is ready to head into the secret tunnel. He hopes that things will be over soon so that they can get back to Thistletop but doesn't intimate his feelings at the moment.
Devrin stands watch while Grond takes a look around. He is ready to head down the secret passage when his companion returns.
"Lead on." Devrin says to his dwarven allies as they move further into the glassworks.
"I suppose it would be good for us to have a look around. I hate to waste too much time when Thistletop still stands but if there might be a back entrance then it could be easier than trying another frontal assault." replies Devrin.
"Sounds good, but we best not tary too long. Those goblins will take time to organize but they know were about. If there are humans behind the goblin menace things will mobilize a lot quicker. I'd like to head back out before midday tomorrow." offers Devrin.
Devrin thinks on Grond's words for a few but remembers, "That goblin shaman that we captured squeeled on how things were working in Thistletop. He said that some humans had come and that Rippnugget was answering to them. He asked us to get rid of the humans to set things right. You may be correct that someone from Sandpoint is involved but they may have relocated to Thistletop. I wonder if any of the villagers have gone missing recently."
"Its been one hell of a day, I'd be glad to accept your hospitality again my friend." replies Devrin as they head away from the goblins.
Standing up again after caring for Korpi, Devrin looks around at the mass of goblin bodies and the wear his friends are showing (as well as his own near-death experience). "I think you've got it right Grond, we should head back. We'll come back here tomorrow after we've had a chance to rest up. I'm sure that killing Rippnugget will leave the goblins in a bit of a lurch and those humans that are working with them have been given a wake up call."
"Fern please join me over here." says Devrin as he remains kneeling beside Korpi. Channeling Desna's divine will, he floods the area with healing energy. Two bursts of bright light shine from him flowing over his injured companions. healing (1d6=1)
"And thanks to you Ulmo, I'm hear to provide Desna's blessing that we might all feel patched up before storming the castle." says Devrin. First he tends to Korpi and Ulmo with direct blessings then sets to providing a general infusion of Desna's power to all.
With a break in the fighting while Fern and Ulmo fire away at the entangled goblins, Devrin hauls even harder to get the bridge up so that they can get over to help.
"Good plan" offers Devrin as he reaches for the bridge to haul on it too. He does look around to see if any of his three companions are injured as he could heal them before they charge over.
"Grond! good to see you. Thought we lost you back there. Good to see you too Kyran, thought I was a goner there for a bit. Ulmo managed to get me above water and breathing while still swimming, quite the feat down there. I can't help much at this range, any plan to get the three of us over there?" says Devrin to his two companions.
With the boost, Devrin starts climbing up the rope to join Kyran, possibly on the wrong side of the cliff.
Devrin sputters and empties the water in his lungs in a hacking cough. Choking on the brine, he struggles to grip on to Ulmo and the wall of the cliff. He looks at the dwarf offering him a heartfelt look of thanks, his voice no where near recovered enough yet after the near drowning. He tries to breathe deeply, but the water that was in his lungs causes him to cough again. A few more moments and he is a little more calm and capable of breathing normally. He chokes out a word of thanks to Ulmo and then calls on Desna's aid to heal them both a bit more.
Devrin tries to make it the rest of the way, grabbing Fern if he needs to. Or atleast that would be his intention if he didn't start screaming like a girl and fall straight down.
"Lets get in there!" says Devrin in hurried response as he charges across the rickety bridge after Korpi.
Devrin gets ready to rescue Korpi should bad things happen at the gate. He prefers not to jump out into the open at the moment, but assaulting a stronghold is not something he has any experience with. He looks doubtfully at Kyran, hoping his friend's tactics are sound.
Devrin prepares beside Ulmo, lacking any real long range support. Should a goblin approach their position he throws his starknife at it.
Devrin will spend his second channel divinity to boost Ulmo and himself. "Back." He says after returning from scouting. "We taking that place?" he says looking out over the rope bridge towards Thisletop.
"Then why not just let us into Thistletop to remove the longshanks and your problem would be solved?" poses Devrin, though his logic may be above the goblin.
"Other Longshanks? Who's been in to butter up the Thisletop?" Asks Devrin as he catches up on the conversation.
Devrin rushes to keep up with his companions but stops with Fern as Korpi advances on Grogmurt. Tempted to throw his starknife, Devrin holds back for now.
With none of the goblins alive in the vicinity, Devrin takes a moment to channel Desna's blessing for all his companions.
Devrin takes his friend's advice in stride and steps back from Grogmurt to administer some of Desna's divine blessing upon himself.
Catching Grogmurt off guard, Devrin slides his starknife into the little annoying goblin.
Devrin grunts in pain and tries to retaliate, but his swing is less than accurate.
Devrin continues to attack Grogmurt, but is completely unsuccessful this time around.
Devrin spins to attack Grogmurt as the goblin shaman pokes out of the brush attacking him. His swing is accurate but only just catches the goblin with a scratch.
Turning his concentration back to the battle at hand now that he's not stumbling about, Devrin moves quickly over to Ulmo and pats him on the back. "Of course let me take a look." he says administering a cure light wounds.
Devrin moves in to slash at the goblin but trips over his boot laces and nearly face plants into the thorns.
Moving incredibly slowly, Devrin will move to mop up should there be any goblin standing when he finally goes.
Devrin nods his readiness as well, his starknife in hand.
"I can scout if necessary, though I'm not the most stealthy." Offers Devrin hoping not to hold up the group too long. "I'm forever skulking through the undergrowth it seems while wandering the great lands guided only by Desna."
Devrin offers a little healing to the wounded survivor bathing the area in the radiance of Desna.
Devrin walks quickly over to the survivor to see what he can do to help.
Devrin moves forward in concert with Kyran as they advance on the bugbear. He holds his attack for a moment until Kyran is in place. His star knife slides in under the goblinoid's defence, inflicting a stinging wound.
Devrin takes Kyran's queue and keeps pace with the paladin moving out a few feet to allow them to circle a foe. Spotting the bugbear he points silently towards it and charges in that direction.
Devrin readies his starknife and nods to Fern and the others. He looks to the dwarves as he starts stalking off quickly towards the sound of the horse.
Devrin thanks Kyran for the meal as well, "I'll always make it a point to stop by here in the future Kyran, your food and hospitality are great. I can carry some of that rope too if you like." Devrin is dressed in his travelling clothes as he was even during the festival. As a cleric of Desna he is always ready for the road.
Since a good part of the day still remains, Devrin intends to see if he can find Shalelu Andosana or failing that, other rumors around town regarding the recent attackes.
"Got room in your barn again tonight, Kyran?" asks Devrin hoping to take advantage of his friend's hospitality again.
