I would say: Devamil, Genar and Aelfric in 1 boat; Shiro, Phaethon and Dakbyr in the other;
If we have guests returning with us, either Dakbyr or Aelfric will be able to sooth/wrestle them down as the extra in the boat.

Devamil will buy the Drow a round of whatever they were drinking.
Devamil will be watching the Drow as well. He's never seen anything other than a surface elf, so they interest him greatly.
