This game is now full, so thanks to all those expressed interest!

While I'm here, I'd also like to add that I'm currently looking for additional players for a long-running tabletop Pathfinder campaign on the Gold Coast, Australia. We have a committed group of players who meet twice a month (alternating between Friday evenings and Saturday daytime) for what is always a quality session.

If you're interested, let me know via PM or email.

I'll send you an email, blackcat.

We'll be using AOL instant messenger (AIM) to run the game, as it is easy, accessible, has in-built dice functionality and other features that will assist the game to run. I intend on having one window open for the game and a second window for any OOC discussion and dice rolls, which will keep in-game distractions to a minimum. It's essential that those players involved are online and ready to play at the start time in order to prevent delays.

I should also add that I'm after a nice balance of combat and roleplay, so there will be more to this game than just hack n' slash. I intend to push the party with potentially lethal combat, so the characters will need to communicate and work well as a team to overcome many of the more difficult challenges. I also want characters with some depth and personality that I can get a feel for. Characters who have some history and motivations I can draw upon to tailor the campaign to suit them more and characters who are committed to the group and want to discuss alternatives to always running head-first into a situation in a way that will get them killed. By the same token, I also spend a lot of time crafting my NPCs to have more depth than the standard fodder, so you can expect many of the allies and adversaries to respond more like a PC and, hopefully, create some memorable scenes.

The setting will be loosely based on Golarion, though only so much as they deities and maps are useful tools for the campaign. Much of it, including the adventure, will be custom content. I'm after a total of 5-6 players, which will allow for a party that covers all the essentials and allows a bit of flexibility with classes. I currently have 2 certain players and another 2 who are very interested. I'm searching for the last couple of players to round out the group.

I’m looking for a couple of additional players for a Pathfinder campaign that will commence in the near future. The game will be run weekly via text-based chat on Tuesday or Wednesday nights between 8pm - 11pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time, which is GMT +10).

The campaign will start at Level 1 and use material from; Core, APG, UM and UC if desired. Expect a balanced mix of lethal combat and solid interaction across a variety of environments. Naturally, players with Pathfinder or 3.5 experience preferred but not essential.

I’m an experienced DM/player and have run many such games before via PBP, chat and tabletop. If you’re interested, available during the above times and willing to commit to a long-term campaign, please send me a PM/email or respond here.

Hey Catprog, I just hit that link and it took me to a page that doesn't exist. You might want to double check it.

If you like, you're more than welcome to advertise and/or host your game on the gaming forum I've recently setup for Australian players at www.rpg-world.com/forum.

I'm on the Gold Coast near Broadbeach and would love to hook up with some more Aussie gamers!

Glad to hear acid_ninja!

Take a look over at www.rpg-world.com/forum and we'll talk some more about setting up a character for the game.

For the record, I can't seem to work out the blasted PM system here either... and it's not the first time I've tried.

I really want the chat functionality and the ability to submit PMs, Spoilers, roll dice etc, so this place is not up to the task.

However, all those who have expressed interest are welcome to join. I'm also happy to give those newer players a helping hand if they are reliable and willing to make an effort to understand the basics in a reasonable timeframe.

In case you didn't catch the link before, I'm over at http://rpg-world.com/forum.

Happy Gaming All!

I’m a veteran DM of 20+ years who is currently looking for players for an online Pathfinder campaign.

The game will be run through chat, PBP or even a combination of both and be a Level 1 start with material from the Core, APG and Bestiary, if desired. Both newcomers and veterans are equally welcome, though I have a strong preference for players who have an active involvement in the storyline (both in and out of combat) and are willing to get involved in any party discussions.

The game will be pretty fast-paced with a good mix of combat and roleplay, so I’m looking for people who have a good knowledge of their characters’ capabilities and are willing to respond fairly quickly and keep the game fluid.

Anyone interested can contact me via email or PM or visit RPG World.

Thanks for reading.

I'm from the Gold Coast. We've got quite a strong gaming community up here and I'm involved in a regular fortnightly tabletop game as well as running a gaming forum at RPG World.

I'm currently recruiting for a couple of online Pathfinder games and love to hear from other Aussie gamers, or even just players on the same timezone, who can hook up for a regular game.

Feel free to drop by or send me a PM if you're interested.
