I'm not sure if I'm missing something, over-complicating this, or what. Hopefully someone here can shed some light on my dilemma. I know that Bard spells always have a verbal component which notes music and I know that playing the instrument can also give the somatic component. But what about the listed spell components? Do I need to carry around a Component Pouch. Do I need to "waste" the feat and get "Eschew Materials." Or as a bard is my music my only needed components? I've never played a spell caster before, and even if I had, we had always waived the need for components as a house rule. Having just started looking for a group on Roll20, I'd like my character to adhere to all the RAW from the start. Thank you for any help you can give. |
