So I'm working on putting together a compilation of equipment used to extinguish fires, or aid the effort of handling a fire. A lot of what I've been looking for on reddit and the forums here, but searches get diluted with articles about "Fighters" and "Fire", but not in the context I'm seeking. While Google continues isn't any help.

I'm looking for any ideas you've outside my list. This is primarily equipment based, and not class or race based. Primarily looking for mundane items, but some magic equipment items are welcome too.

I've found this environmental ruleset on d20pfsrd. Which provides some helpful details on how fires spread, dealing with burning buildings and smoke inhalation, as well as some examples for dousing a fire. (20 waterskins for one square? Sheesh.)

The Firefighter list
Equipment:
Fire pump (Fire truck... Lasts 1 min.)
Water pump canister. (Fire extinguishers... Lasts 4 rounds)
Ladder (Second Story extraction)
Collapsible trampoline (Deploys in 1 min.)
Second Story Harness (I'm trying to think of a scenario where this would be helpful.)

Tools:
Saw (Can cut hinges to get through doors... There's not really a "Woodcutters Axe" or a "Fireaxe" that exists. They're all weapons, the handaxe and battleaxe both require martial proficiency.)
Sledgehammer (Obvious.)
Shovel (Dig Dirt, create trenches)
Buckets (Carry Dirt, or water... But the Pumps purpose is water.)

Clothes:
Filter Hoods (Helps protect eyes, mouth and nose from smoke)
Flame retardant outfit. (Standard Firemans outfit)
Fire resistant boots. (Completes the clothes set)

Been trying to find something like sand or dirt, or a dirt/sand bomb. Something you could throw that would *POOF* scattering dirt or sand to douse fire. But as I'm going over all the equipment options, it doesn't look like anything like that exists.

Thats awesome I might do that with a backback. But what would happen to the monkeys equipment would it merge with me and be non accessible, or would it fall off when he goes back into my body?

Following. Would also like to know what happens to equipment when it re-attaches, that is equipped to a tumor familiar while it was detached.

Obviously you cant don a cloak or strap a belt while its attached. (Unless it like half detaches from you, like some creepy sci-fi movie, long enough to attach equipment.)

Assuming that while equipped, the equipment has no effect. But knowing if the equipment simply falls off when it merges, or merges with the creature, similarly to druids going wildshape.

This is important to know because of action economy. Die for your Master for example. Is it worth buying your little one something like a Protean Cloak and focusing it towards Reflex saves? There's not going to be time in a fight to equip an item that boosts reflex for that specific Feat+Discovery combination. Because its already going to be fused when the feat procs. But when it blocks the hit, it would be separated, thereby gaining any equipment effects it may have equipped.

(I understand the counter-point that the reflex save needed for Die for your Master can reach impossible highs for the tumor to actually succeed and absorb the whole hit, but this is just a practical example of why answering the question of "What happens to the equipment when the tumor merges?" is important.

Strong Arm Supple Wrist gets a lot of use as an Alchemist. Effectively increase your minimum and maximum throwing distance before using items or spells like the bombchucker, bomb launcher, or longshot.
