Desmond knocks the blow aside with his shield and is about to say something to the leader when he sees Ghardak surrounded. "Hey, I don't think that's fair!" The half-orc moves to pull Red away from Ghardak, though he ends up ripping at his arms and neck.

Desmond moves in to establish a beachhead for the others to follow. He lowers into a more battle ready stance and raises his shield for protection. "Come on, you know you're beat. The Pathfinders have captured several of your mates!"

Desmond begins looking at Ghardak's wounds, but then the dwarf shrugs him off to open the door. The half-orc sighs and repacks his medical bag before saying, "I guess you'll live a little longer."

Don't mind him. He's turning into a grump.

Desmond winces at the tail smack, but then uses his shield to push the tiny creature towards the pillar track. Then he moves to the opposite corner and raises his shield again.

Desmond insists on taking a look at Ghardak wound, even as the dwarf indicates that his spindle stone will heal him. "I don't trust those things completely. What if your nose was broken and it made it heal back crooked!" He leans down closer. "Besides, if they don't see me tending to you, they could just cancel my contract."

He wraps his own cuts after tending to Ghardak.

Desmond goes pales as White is cut down just as he pulls away from him. He turns and tries to grab Green to keep him from running, but loses his balance and falls. The medic stands back up and raises his shield to avoid further embarrassment.

Desmond realizes that there are stairs on the other side and he turns to dash after the figure in white. He circles him and then grabs him to keep him from moving. "Gotcha!"

He spots the others two trying to move along the wall and kicks out mostly trying to impede their movement.

A half-orc sits in the corner with an overstuffed backpack watching the scene. He watches the android leave and then looks over to Quin and Jhiang. "Fair enough. I'm not sure my medical knowledge would have helped with her wounds."

"My name's Desmond. I'm a medic. Been asked to tag along to help keep you all alive. But it's your show." True to his word, you don't see a weapon or armor on the man, just that overstuffed backpack, some heavy boots, and a slightly battered steel shield. He looks up, remembering something. "Any medical allergies I should know about? Bee stings? Any current medicines?"

Desmond is a 'medic'. I tend to play him more into positioning and covering for those who are hurt, and reflavor his strikes as pushes or something suitable non-lethal.

Also, he's got you covered in out of combat healing.

So Desmond can't play given that he has already played 4-10. If there was a way for him to play for no credit, I would do that

Desmond checks on each of the enemies to ensure they won't die, before he begins tending to the others. "They may be able to tell us more about who wants to steal the skull."

Treat wounds with continual recovery and ward medic. Easy enough to heal everyone.

With Shae down, Desmond goes to check on Takumi. He bandages quickly the man's wound too quickly, though and doesn't tie it securely. He presses on to help the others surround the last guard, raising his shield for protection.

Desmond whirls, kicking out Shae's legs from under him with a little magical help from Alyreha. Then he flails a bit as he shouts, "You can't have her!" Finally, he is able to bring his shield around to help protect him and the skull.

Des also has Darkvision and will hold Alyreha. Are the attackers still invisible after they strike? And can he tell which of them is trying to take Alyreha?

"Hey, let go of--" The half-orc is grabbing after Alyreha when he gets stabbed. "Whoa! That's against the rules! I'm a medic! You have to answer for that!"

Desmond secures Alyreha and rushes after the thief to lecture him on the rules of war (warfare lore).

Not sure of the actions here. Desmond will grab Alyreha (maybe an action?), but then he would rush after the one who stabbed him (black?). But he doesn't know there's an invisible foe blocking him. If he somehow was aware he couldn't go that way, he would jump onto the table and go after Black.
