I am not sure how to feat it out to be effect for the group. We have plenty of hand to hand in the group, a fighter and two rouges and a cleric that can if he has to and a ranger rounds out our little group. So I guess I am just wanting to know how to feat it out from this point. I am thinking I end up going fighter2/Wiz8/EK10.


I am currently working on being an EK. I am fighter one and wizard five and am planning to take the next ten in EK. What I am worried about is that I am the groups only arcane caster but I wanted the flexability of a battle mage type. I am a teifling that has taken wpn focus greatsword, combat casting, arcane strike, arcane armor training and craft arms and armor. The craft feat was part story and also in this style of game being able to make your gear is the most direct path to gearing. Also our gm runs some of everything, we have as good a chance as ending up on another plane as we do facing down undead or dragons or any other horror from the manual.


When trying to figure the time it takes to craft an item like weapons or armor, do you add that special material cost to the base to determine your DC. If so is there away that a player could not spend years in game crafting certain items or it that a no?
