Delphey continues to move towards the west wall and trades her sling for a dagger.

Welcome back JZ. Dropping my sling as a free action, moving 10' west as move action #1 and equipping a dagger as move action #2.

If the game gets going again while I'm out of town I give permission for the DM to take my moves in the interest of keeping the game going. No Worries if I get killed. I think the odds are against us on this fight. Otherwise I should be able to post late Sunday evening.

I'll be attending Gencon this week and I'll be gone Friday and won't have a means to post until I'm home sometime late Sunday.


Delphey moves ten feet to the south and targets the croc to a try and gain it's attention.

sorry. been timing out the last couple of hours. initially i went back and added initiative roll via edit, and it messed up my attack role. Then I went back and took it back out and the numbers went back to the original scores. Honest Abe.

To be fair my initiative roll should be 12, as that was what I scored for it when I did the first edit. That will make everything straight.

Sorry I thought the numbers were permanent once rolled and didn't think the addition would mess things up.

Delphey steps up and chooses to unleash a sling shot at the Trog.

"Okay" Delphey gets into position and hides.

"That sounds like a plan to me. If the spell works Kel should try and charge the Trog and oust him off the balcony. I'll try and distract the lizard as needed. Hopefully they will both fall under the enchantment. What do you think Kel?"

Speaking soft and hastily Delphey immediately turns to Lycia. "Do you suppose something like an alligator would be afraid of fire? Perhaps we can use a few torches to make some kind of screen."


Delphey reports what she saw, including the layout, the throne like chair, and the alligator.

"Think we should see what is behind the last door, or deal with the big chief up there? The Trog is standing on a balcony with it's back to us. Maybe we can send it over the edge. Oh but the alligator is right there too. Do you have any spells that might be potent Lycia?"


Delphey quietly heads back down the stairs to inform her cohorts of what she saw, and to formulate a further plan.


Delphey looks appreciative of Lycia's thoughtful words, but then speaks in an irritated tone. "Hold it together. No one is going to die here." She nods further up the stairs. "This whole place is falling apart. We should go further up, and see if this room has a roof still or windows." Delphey takes a dagger in each hand, and continues up the stairs.

Delphey carefully leads up the stairs, inspecting each step first and sticking to the shadows created by Lycia's magic light.

"Ok lets go up then."


"Dont forget the silver."Delphey pilfers the settings from the white altar.


Delphey finishes her checks. "I don't think there's any traps. What do you think this is all about?"She wags an arm towards the burnt remains of the trogs before picking up her spent sling stone.


"Something seems kind of funny about this, so be careful."

Delphey begins by checking for traps around the center of the room, and then around each altar.

Delphey moves quickly, breaking for the north wall of the octagon, before turning and firing a sling bullet at the closest skeleton.

"Yes I'm sure I can pick this lock but it's going to take some time. Kol, if you want to cover the stairs going up, and Lycia you watch the way we came from."

Delphey tries the lock again, carefully probing and maneuvering her pick tools and precisely positioning the tumblers inside.


Delphey frowns at her failure. Giving up for the moment she turns to look and make sure Kol and Lycia are on their way up the stairs.


Delphey stops at the door and gives a short series of whistles to signal her companions. She then turns her attention to the lock on the door.

Delphey motions her partners to come close and speaks in barely over a whisper.
"We need to be careful, anything else that is here probably heard the fighting. Lets be quiet for a minute and I'll sneak up the stairs to see what it looks like. If everything is clear I'll give a whistle. If there's something nasty I'll come right back."

"Lets go back to the door that was passed then."


Delphey looks straight up and puts her hands on her hips. "Sorry I didn't see a chance to sneak up, not to mention I think that the wound you suffered might have killed me! Anyway I thought we were doing pretty good up till then. How about we take a closer look around this room?"

Delphey quickly rounds up her spent ammunition. "I don't know but they smell bad." Delphey focuses her attention to the open door.


"Nice shot Lycia, one more like that!" Delphey reloads and tries again with renewed enthusiasm.

Delphey curses under her breath and reloads her sling yet again before hurling another stone.

For tracking purposes Delphey should possess six more sling bullets if this attack goes through.


Delphey reloads her sling and winds up, then hesitates a moment before launching another stone bullet.

Delphey steps towards the south wall and unleashes a sling stone at the closest reptilian.

Delphey shrugs and trades her dagger for her sling. "I put a hole in it." She drops a round bullet into the sling and looks up at Lycia. "What about you did it sting?"


Delphey swings out with her dagger.

Keeping as still as possible Delphey tucks her sling into her belt and pulls a dagger, dancing it across her nimble fingers a into a 'reverse' grip. Shifting her weight back, she waits for a moment.

Then looking straight ahead she speaks softly and calm.
"Kol, why don't you slice that things head off before it gets to close."


Delphey nods to Lycia, and begins to inspect the room, paying careful attention to door and the area in front of it.

Delphi scans the tower looking for the best route to climb. "Maybe I should go first and see what there is to see." Delphi attempts to carefully scale the ruined wall.

Delphey carefully scans the room for anything we have missed.

Delphey tip toes straight ahead to position herself directly behind the spider and reloads her sling with another bullet.

Delphey attempts to remain unnoticed and moves 10' due north at half speed .

Delphey moves up along the east wall and fires a sling shot up at the spider.

Delphey moves 5' to the north east attempting to secure the right flank.

Delphey carefully scans the floor from side to side, looking for anything out of place.

Delphey wrinkles her nose as she looks over the bloody carcass. "Found it! She looks to the other two. "I don't want to lead. I'll tell you to stop if I see anything that looks like a trap." Delphey follows staying a few steps back of Kol.


"Oh I don't know. Leave them I guess. Did you see where my sling stone went to?"

Delphey attempts to find the shot and recover it.
