Holy Crap, Degbie's crossbow has range! As a final insult, spouting expletives in the necromancers direction, Degbie lets the knife fall from his hand, draws his crossbow, loads it, and lets fly. I lean towards letting him go, but Degbie can at best maintain the speed he's going, unless someone wants to get on the horse to head him off. From a metagame perspective, we might miss some treasure, but I'm okay with that. Degbie, on the other hand.. he almost died, so he'd probably want to throw that knife at least.

Totally beat me to it, Ezekiel! "I'm goin' t'keep working left around the town." Degbie says to Zhera while he covers the dead goblin in a spare cloak from his pack. The ankh, he puts away near the wayfinder in his pack to identify later. He makes his way to the Apothecary's hoping that one or more of the lost pathfinders tried to shelter there, and that it could still have medicines and bandages so he didn't have to use his own stock to tend his wounds. Again, another deep breath before opening the doors. But the state of the building's interior causes just his usual oath instead, "Drunken brawls." Seeing Ezekiel, Degbie gives a nod. "What'd ye find in t'tavern?" Perception +5

Eyeing the initials on the Wayfinder, Degbie slips it into his rucksack. "Well then, Clement, looks as if yer drinkin' wit the Drunken Hero h'self tonight." He eyes the rest of the buildings in town while wiping some of the gore off his hands with the shirt he'd left in his sack. "Still, there's more t'do b'fore ah cin drink t'ye meself." Still struggling with the after-affects of the fight, Degbie makes his way to the chapel and opens the doors taking a deep breath to prepare for the inevitable horrors within. It only takes a second for him to take in the scene- the tableau of death arrayed before him. He rushes to the body with the mutter of "Must'a been a wizardly type. Or a trap t'kill the dead'uns around." Investigate the corpse: Medicine +5, Religion +5, and Perception +5 so take your pick
