Diaudius Creventreytch was born in a small village that was filled with violence and hatred. His Father was the owner and Bartender of a small, filthy tavern called The Red Sword. Diaudius grew up hiding on the small stair case listening to the discussions of the patrons. When the Tavern was not busy his father would tell stories of his adventures before Diaudius was born.

Diaudius watched the patrons come and go from the Tavern. He studied them, eventually knowing their personalities and their activities and was able to know a person well after ten minutes of observation. When Daudius came to reach his tenth birthday his father hired him to be an assistant bar tender.

Daudius was not very successful at the acts of bartendering due to constant worrying about making mistakes. He asked his father to approve his concoction before giving it to the customer even on water. Even though he did not do well, Diaudius' father did not force him to leave the bar. Diaudius helped his father improve the bar to become the most popular tavern in what was known as Mussel's Country.

After 8 years of helping at the tavern, Diaudius became dependent on others. He hated to be alone and even slept in the back of the tavern. He entertained the guests and became the 'boy of the Red Sword'. Whenever a patron had a problem, Diaudius listened and supported the individual but worried about giving the wrong advice.

Mussel's Country was not officially controlled by any kingdom, or if it was, no kingdom cared for it. A militia of bandits, thieves, former knights, and ex nobility was formed by the former prince of a small kingdom of Cunitia. The former prince, Servtio Musselos, claimed Mussel's Country after he and his small army were kicked out of Cunitia for attempting to take over the kingdom. Cunitia and other surrounding kingdoms did not care for Mussel's Country enough to send soldiers to help the villages.

Saertia Cumnerti, a soldier in Musselos' militia, led a team to Diaudius' village to control that villages supplies. After Diaudius' father refused to give up the tavern, Cumnerti ordered Diaudius' father to be imprisoned until he could pay 5,692 pieces of gold to the militia. Diaudius managed to escape and vowed to raise the money in any way possible. He resorted to thievery and gambling to get the money.

Diaudius was a different type of thief. He only stole from soldiers, nobility, and criminals. He equipped himself only with the gear he needed, selling any gear he received to shops and villagers. His armor was made of leather he found around villages and he died parts of it white to show he was not fully evil but still pure in heart.
