I am currently deployed as well stationed at Balad AB, LSA Anaconda. My shop and I are using Fantasy Grounds to run a deployed adventure, it's nice because we don't need any books or dice! For a long range campaign I have never seen anything better. It does add some strain to the DM as far as prep goes and needing to be a fast typeist. But it removes a lot of strain as well. Most any question that arises can be quickly cross referenced and answered using the included source books. We got ours from rpgnow.com If you do I highly recomend also purchasing the full SRD which will run about 5.00 more. There are no monthly fees so you don't have to wory about that.
