I think it depends on a number of factors.

That being said, for the past 3 or 4 Gen Cons my pdfs and shipments have been released after the shipping dates.

Yup. There's even a compass rose pointing South as up.

I get these every time I see a new one has come out. I love having a huge library of art for various characters and things.
