Hey to those reading this,

So I'm working on a campaign setting for Pathfinder 2E themed (loosely) around Finnish folklore with some typical Fantasy themes sprinkled into it and the first element I'm working on is the Ancestry known as the Lintusen. An owl-like race of humanoids from the northern region of Talviharja (Tahl-vee-har-yah) the Penninsula country on the western shore of the continent which will be the (current) focal point for this setting with some regions of their Neighbors mixed in to give a broader view of the world.

I have the general information of the Lintusen prepared and while I create the Heritages, Feats, and refine the information I figured I'd share what I've got so I can get some feedback... in the words of a very funny purple puppet... It might be something like an ugly baby, something that I won't know is bad until I've taken it for a walk and people start screaming in horror at what I've made...

Meaningless rambling aside a little information that isn't included in THIS version of the Ancestry because it's for a different part of the setting guide about the inhabitants of the region, rather than the ancestry page specifically...

The Lintusen are a race that branched off from a Deific race, sort of Similar to typical Seraphs/Etc and Aasimar, however instead of retaining their Deific Heritage and melding to the physical form of whatever Ancestry they become a part of. This race lost their Divinity and kept their physical form during a small schism when they were under the influence of the Nature Gods. This resulted in creating one sect that stayed to protect the Gods and their interests and another who joined the mortals on Talviharja, this branch of mortals would become the playable Ancestry.

Due to this branching off they lost their ability to cast any Divine magics or utilize anything affiliated to the divine. Forcing them to Embrace the Occult and Primal traditions of the realm. This has made them excellent Druids, Witches, and Rangers.

Their Deific kin who remained servants to the gods still do so protecting the Soul Birds and the Gods while this branch seeks a simpler life among the mortals.

Game Base Stats
Hit Points - 8
Ability Increases - Constitution, Wisdom, Free
Ability Flaw - Intelligence
Language(s) - Common and Sylph, 2 more based on your INT modifier, which can include Elven, Auran, Dwarven, Draconic, Orcish, or any others you'd have access to regionally. **NOTE** I realized only after exporting the draft layout that Auran would be a better base language with Sylph being the optional one. This confusion on my part comes from the original idea of the setting being less Finnish and more Fey themed. **END OF NOTE**
Darkvision - You can see in Darkness and Dimlight as if it were bright light, but it's in black and white.
Deific Folly - Due to your ancestors divide from divinity you cannot harness divine magics. This limits class selection and what items, heritages, feats, and such the Lintusen can benefit from. More information on the IMGUR link.
