Shoul I choose an eidolon with flight or climbing currently a lvl 10 half elf summoner who is currently on an evil rampage and trying to choose between flight or climbing

Can an eidolon with gill grab someone and hold/drown them underwater?

I was along the lines of tossing the opponent then leveling out real fast

Can and eidolon with flight and slam grapple an opponent fly upwards then swoop down slamming the opponent and adding the fall damage to the slam?
