I would roll for which one if it was just rolling, but you can choose whichever you want that makes best sense for your encounter.

If you look in the ultimate campaign it lists all the rules. You are allowed a certain number of building/improvements/hex claims per turn and it changes depending on the size of the kingdom.

We have plenty of build points, the post keeps a running total, we currently have 79.

It costs 1BP to claim a hex, 4BP to build a road w/bridges, and 4BP to build a settlement. Some of these costs vary depending on the type of terrrain the hex is in. Costs less to build on plains, more to build in forests, for example.

If you look back through the turn of Month 24 you can see I did all the things mentioned above including building a house in the new settlement and an herbalist in Thornshill. You can look at the herolab file for the kingdom and see everything that is build on each hex and in each city but PLEASE DON'T ACTUALLY MAKE ANY CHANGES. I have to account for everything purchased because I can't figure out how herolab calculates BP. It says we have 223 so I adjusted it to what my numbers say and then when I went to purchase something it said we had -BP.

I have done nothing military-wise. If you want to read the military part for the campaign that would be helpful. I briefly tried to look in the UC but couldn't find costs and such.

Walls are already built, as is the castle. They are standard items that have standard costs in BP. We got a discount for the castle for example because of the existing fort. The city currently has 2 walls because one side is a cliff and the other a river.

Pierre started the building process and then I took over. If you recall you wanted a brewery so I built a brewery in Silverguard on one turn, Finwik wanted a brothel but that isn't an option so I built a dancehall which seems like it may include a brothel. I have been just adding what makes sense. Farms on plains hexes, mines or quarries on hilled hexes, fisheries on river hexes, sawmills in forests. You can only have a certain number of each of those on a given hex and the hex type must allow it. I also added a cemetery to Templeton. I would love some input on the city/town building etc. Different ones +/- kingdom and city stats. I also have a few watch towers spread around.

I may have gone overboard, we already have 3 mines, 2 quarries, 4 sawmills, 11 farms, 3 fisheries.

I don't think there is anything about taming the rivers. When we build a road we build bridges. I don't think you can magic any of the build processes. Probably need the jobs anyway :)

We save lots of BP but as we continue the upgraded buildings are more expensive. A guildhall is 34, a cathedral 58, so I don't spend them all on one turn. There is also upkeep. Currently our natural income covers our ongoing expenses and more so we are in a good position income wise, but as we grow our expenses increase. For example, the base cost to maintain the kingdom is 22BP, the amount we spend on holidays and promotion is added to this. The amount of farms and fisheries we have offsets this. As a result our consumption is actually 1 less than our "food". I built a granary one round which can hold up to 5 extra "food" (consumption BP) This cannot be accessed for anything other than the base kingdom consumption, it can't be used to build. If we were to have more consumption than "food" we can take from the granary BP. If there is no granary BP it comes out of regular BP as essentially we would have to buy food. Mines, quarries and sawmills give us treasury BP. Currently we get 12BP every month for this. Then we roll a d20+economy score/3 to determine taxes collected that month. Since our economy score is 52 we would always collect a minimum of 17BP in taxes each month + 12BP from industry. This is what is used to build things or resurrect dead PCs.

I can maybe show everyone the building side a little bit on Saturday so people can learn how to look at the info themselves. As well as I will put the stuff on the map to show.

How many more months do you want me to do? We are at 18 months currently.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna was human, not half-elf.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Whoops, I forgot I already had *just* done that. We can wait until the next morning if you want. Or just ride out.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna finally breaks her silence. I am going to go with Father. I need some time with my family and away from things for a bit. She looks to Kai who puts his hand on her shoulder. I think we will leave now. I'm sorry, but I need some time.

With little more preamble she changes form, closely followed by Kai, and wings south.

I will use this time to roll the kingdom stuff. She will spend a couple of weeks with Kai and Brigit and her siblings.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna smiles back at Bjelich but it is clear from her quietness and stiff manner that she is not comfortable with the situation. It will likely be a while until she fully accepts her new self.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Oh My goodness! Did I get a text!

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

As they approach Greengate Danna circles a few times before finally landing beside Kai who has already resumed his shape. Even upon landing she does not immediately change back but after a few minutes finally assumes her humanoid shape.

Will update for negative levels and any other changes shortly.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

As Danna sobs memories begin to return, the wyvern attacking her, the horrible crunching and terrible pain before everything suddenly disappeared. As her father strokes her hair she realizes that she must have died and the reason her father is here now.
Father. She says with a resigned sigh. What have I become?

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Blinking from the brightness of the sun after a long sleep, Danna must rub them prove she is not seeing things.
Father? What are you doing her? The wyvern!! She jumps to her feet, searching for her enemy and her companions. Slowly she realizes that her surroundings are not what she remembers it also begins to register that things are even more strange. Her perspective is not quite what she is used to, and her body feels unfamiliar. She looks down and shrieks.

Could be worse I guess. Half-orc

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

They live in Thornhill. I think I mentioned it in the post where I brought them to the area.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

As the life drains from Danna's body and her blood soaks the ground a tiny whirlwind swirls up from the drenched earth as if the the last bit of her life force is refusing to just drain away. Joining the wind it seems to dissipate as a faint tinkley sound is heard.

Hero point expended.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

I don't know if it makes a difference but there was also bless active for Taldani

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna struggles as the wyrm grabs her and fumbles for her sickle. Bringing it to hand she slashes at the beast.

attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 1 = 131d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Just my mighty fists!

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Do I not get an attack of opportunity? "As a standard action, you can attempt to grapple a foe, hindering his combat options. If you do not have Improved Grapple, grab, or a similar ability, attempting to grapple a foe provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your maneuver." or does it have grab or something? Also it says it's a standard action, didn't it use it's standard action to attack?

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

As the menace flies nearer Danna again calls on the power of storms to aid them. Another bolt of lightning slams into the beast.

lightning bolt: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3) = 10

Call Lightning 4/5

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Another lightning bolt arcs through the sky to strike at the wyvern.

3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6) = 12

She then moves behind the copse near her to try to keep the horses out of any retaliation that may be directed at her.
MA AI 18

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna again conjures another bolt from the sky to strike at the wyvern.

call lightning: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1) = 9

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

sr: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

The bolt singes the beast slightly.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna's spell finally completes and a jagged bolt of lightning flashes in the sky and strikes at the wyvern.

damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1) = 8

call lightning, reflex dc16 for half

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

ba dum cha!

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna begins to cast, her arms wide, her eyes focused on the sky.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna moves to Taldani and with a light touch bolsters his defenses.

Cast barkskin on Taldani, +2 to AC

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna moves up to the carcasses to further examine them.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna tries to determine how long ago the slaughter occurred. She also examines the tracks on the ground and marks on the animals to try to get an idea of what might have attacked them.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

With no other leads Danna suggests that they see what has caused the birds to congregate.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Yeah, until I have enough staff so that I basically don't have to work I don't think Simon will be too keen on me booking time off to play pathfinder when I will be missing his mother's 80th.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

I'm sure I can make it but may have to leave by 2:00.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

I can try. The earlier in the day the better for me. Sunday is the best chance.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

After checking with Oleg the general areas they might reasonably expect to find farmers with enough livestock to tempt an attack. Danna heads out in front, scouting their way.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

First we need to know what we are up against, then we can devise a plan of action, be it a trap or whatever. And as Oleg has said, it would take days to round up the animals. Our best bet right now is just to try and figure out what we are up against.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

I think we should scout east while we have daylight, maybe even split up. We should be doing strictly reconnaissance. If we are lucky enough to spot it I can try to follow it in the form of an owl and find its lair.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna seconds Bjelich's request for a marked map.
Maybe we can determine a range or likely next target but seeing where it previously attacked. If the pattern holds there will be another attack tonight, too soon to gather the livestock. I suggest that we try to find some likely spots for attack and just scout them tonight. I think we should not engage the beast until we have much more information.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna greets them both warmly and takes a cursory interest in the construction. She hasn't been to Greengate for nearly 6 months as her other duties and the arrival of her family have kept her busy.

She answers the question of their presence with a nod and quickly begins asking her own. Where have the animals gone missing from? How frequent are the incidents? Are there any tracks, scat or remains of partially eaten animals?

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

So are there any other positions within the kingdom that can be filled? Kyras, got a consort yet? What about Viceroy?
Is Kestin or Jhod in charge while we are away? Whatever happened to Crix and his brother? I think Crix was training in the Ranger ways with Kressle I think you said his brother wasn't as skilled, maybe a stable hand or something. I had put in the fluff that they often visited Danna's family because kids, rangers, things in common, etc. Can these relationships be developed?

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

By all means, we must investigate this. We should also try to get a message to the fey to see if they have any information about the beast.

Danna has a travelling bag always packed and ready in her room and goes to grab it before they depart. Checking over her horse before they leave to make sure it has been properly outfitted she gives a warm smile and nod the the stable hand to let them know that everything is satisfactory. She mounts Fawn with a fluid grace and heads out the gate, leading the group north.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

It takes the page a little more effort to reach Danna as she is not within the castle walls. Fortunately her location is not unknown.

As she often does, especially in the spring, she has spent the night in a grove about a 15 minute walk from the castle walls. She had planted it soon after the capture of the fort but instead of the saplings one would expect, the trees appeared to be fully mature. The druid's magic, with possible help from the fey, has sped up its growth.

She seems to just 'appear' before him and greets the page the moment he enters the grove.
You bring news?

Upon hearing that a meeting has been called she immediately returns with the page to the castle.

Passing the stables she sees that preparations are being made and that her own horse, Fawn, is being saddled. With a raised eyebrow she makes her way to the meeting room and greets the others.

We are going somewhere?

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Danna is updated to level 5.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

I must have been rolling HP as mine is neither max nor average. It is currently better than I would get with PFS but I will change it.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

Still need to get a couple more months done. Although as you can see I rolled another monster attack.

Female AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13; HP33 Human (Ulfen/?) Druid Level 5

There is a guy called Treantmonk who does a lot of guides but doesn't seem to have one for Rogues. A search for him brought up this page though

http://zenithgames.blogspot.ca/2012/11/the-comprehensive-pathfinder-guides. html

Which lists different guides people have done based on class. Check out some of the ones for rogues and see if any of the builds strike your fancy.
