In what instances will this be able to happen? Because it mentions checks to gain access to a secure system which will require a full action. So how could both you and the exocortex be hacking a system at the same time?
It's one of the things exocortxes get to do, starting at lvl 5, from the Wireless Hack ability. It's one of the core abilities that sets Mechanics apart from the other "great at Computers" classes.

Does this mean you can do two full actions in a turn to hack a system to get access??

Um, what is the question here?

If you are asking what is the point of hacking to obtain access, it means when you are making computers checks to gain access to a secure system to which you do not currently have access.
If your question is something else, you’ll need to clarify.

In what instances will this be able to happen? Because it mentions checks to gain access to a secure system which will require a full action. So how could both you and the exocortex be hacking a system at the same time?

I'm sure this has already been asked by others other places on the web but I can't seem to find a satisfactory answer due to how the wording is on this ability

If you have a drone, whenever both you and your drone make attacks against the same target, you each receive a +1 circumstance bonus to your attack rolls. If you have an exocortex instead, whenever you and your exocortex are both attempting to hack a system, you each receive a +1 circumstance bonus to the checks to gain access. In either case, these bonuses increase to +2 at 17th level.

Very specifically the wording of hack and gaining access. This heavily implies that you are both doing a full action against one computer to gain access. Because as it seems to me the other computer skills do not involve gaining access other than the hack system.

Also as I understand it having access means you don't need to hack to use a computers functions so that puts out access unsecured system because you aren't gaining access as you already can access it whenever

So I've been looking into mech combat and how ammo works is confusing me

Capacity: This is the number of attacks a mech can perform with the weapon before needing to reload as a move action. Each mech can carry two additional sets of ammunition, unless it has one or more ammo reserve auxiliary systems.

To me it seems like you only get two sets across all your weapons. And when does it even reset how much ammo you have?
