Personally I think keep everything as it is for next game, except the 'Crime Boss' role. Maybe he could know the identity of 1 other Mafia, but it not be reciprocal? But personally I was not a fan of the Crime Boss pretty much determining who was killed, especially with this many Mafia. It made others feel their Mafia votes were useless whilst piling pressure upon me (sure I could have no voted, but what if the others had too). Anyway, sorry about those that fell to my gun/knife - I'm sure you'll have the opporunity to return the favour.

Just 1, we had a tartiflette. Boiled potato, laterally sliced & layered with lardons (bacon) and fried onion. The a dash of nutmeg, and cut a wheel of French Mountain cheese in half and place it on top. Then oven bake until the skin is crispy and the soft cheese has melted into the potato. Then usually we have a side salad. With this we played Blackbeard (a game by GMT) we didn't quiet get it finished. But it was fun.

"Seems Rastley, I'll get to play thee once more. You better get the checker board out." his voice is so faint and filled with regret, that the words are virtually inaudible. Considering what has gone on he walks over to the table and picks up a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Then moves with care towards the front of the meeting hall and slowly climbs upon the stage. Taking a bite out of the cake, some crumbs fall upon the floor. Lost amongst the detritus, they make the perfect analogy for his life. 'I got lucky upon the killing fields of France, it seems the grains of borrowed time have run out and I will join you brothers.'

Clara Cheeseworthy wrote: "Hardly, Dan. Mister Clarence kept slanderin' me, if ye recall, which got my dander up, yes it did. I'm sorry for it, but the ol' coot shouldnt'a oughta said those things 'bout me. I barely kent wut he sed 'bout Mister Thaddius." She gives Thadius a little shrug. "Sorry, but it's true." "Aye, he accused bot' of ye equally. Both Thadius and thee for killing Gustav. Of course, Thadius manipulated it so that thee thought it were only thyself that he was trying to kill. Who did the old coot accuse and vote for first...Thadius. That's why Thad went for himself and you had to defend him, drawing the farmers ire." Even the homely smells of the farm seem good to the baker. Not as nice as the newly cut bread, the soft saltiness of butter fighting with the sweetness of the conserve.

"About t' whispering, I were jus' being nice t' people." Dan adds bitterly; "You ain't been nice t' anyone, have you?" "But I suppose, I need to ready myself for death, it's inevitable amongst your unfounded accusations." he looks towards the large stained glass windows. "Reminds me of the old fields, before t' war. When t' grass was green and the skies were blue." "Now in the twilight of my life, everything seems so grey. The taste of ashes upon t' air."

Clara Cheeseworthy wrote: "I ain't turned on ya, Dan. But is what Mister Thadius said true? Did you turn pore ol' Clarence agin' Mister Thadius an' me? Why wouldja do that, Dan?" Clara regards her friend with tears in her eyes. "Do you mean did I commiserate with the chap after Thadius told you to kill Clarence." Dan pauses significantly; "Why yes I did." "Turns out he played a clever game, got you to do his killing fore him." with a sorrowful shrug.
the Baker
"Oh, Thadius you mean like Clara a couple of hours ago? Or Jin? Or maybe Getika? Interesting you aggrivate all, having done nothing of use for the town." Dan says to the aristocrat. "And Clarence was on you so hard, he was an innocent. Thus by your logic, you are Mafia?" Dan accuses. "Clara, I have been good to you.... you won't turn on me too? Well, unless you are Mafia - then by Thadius' logic you'd vote for me." Dan shakes his head.
the Baker
"So I'm mafia???" Dan is shocked; this turns to acceptance as Coraline votes with Jin. 'Clara will be next, she's followed Thadius' lead the whole time...been in league with him.' He turns to Thadius; "Seems you are wrong, that or Jin is. He says I'm not leader, unlike yourself." "I suppose I'm alone like I was when we went o'er t' top. Might get to be the Morpeth Lads soon then." there's a wistful sheen to his eyes.
the Baker
"I only want what's best for the town-folk. I am not the boss of any family. Now Thadius sets more up for murder, like he did to poor Clarence." Dan looks around the gathering in askance; "He sets up Clarence, now me, and seemingly Tina's next. Who after that Getika, because she's foreign like Gustav, or will it be Coraline?" "You know me, I have been in t' town these past dozen years since t' Army." shaking his head in a small motion; "I work hard from t' dawn t' dusk. Y' I make a profit, but it's honest work."
the Baker
"I know you didn't vote for Clarnece, you played the innocent card. Setting him up." Dan says starting to get annoyed. "You accused him and then persuaded everyone to vote for him. Readying a vote, just in case it was needed. T' old Sumerian ploy." "It was a good way to garner sympathy, as is the drunken noble routine. And all of a sudden you are sober..."
the Baker
"Really? You still think I'm the crime lord? Ask Jin; he undoubtably can see me for what I am? And you think I would not have stopped Hamish if I knew?" Dan adds sadly; "The Duke was my friend as was the Sheriff, I didn't want either of them to die" "You have been the first to accuse, shed the blood of a trio of innocents.... at least, you mafioso." Dan says accusingly. Dan votes Thadius Lumpshire
the Baker
"That's a clever way of doing it. Ya accuse me and it distracts from Hamish's accusation." Dan retorts quietly. "Doing quite the job, first Gustav, Warren then Clarence." "Do you mean the early morning deliveries of Clara's? Nowt wrong w' them, I have to get up early whilst tha' is a sluggabed. Ya see hard work as evil? Little wonder you was rifling through Clarences' pockets for gold."
the Baker
"Really?" says Dan wanting to believe him, just about following the logic. He looks to Getika, his eyes large not believing that she would be part of the criminal fraternity. "Have the others you detected Hamish died? Or have you been focussing on Thadius.... you may be wrong?" Dan bites his lip.
the Baker
Rasping his chin, Dan thinks "Maybe Clarence done found himself an ancient cache of coins. I did hear that the Union army done be dragging some. They found 'em at the plains of Thorri, when raiding t' temple." The baker had picked up some of the local lore in the last few years; but does a double take at Hamishes words. "Thadius, say it ain't so...." he looks to the gentleman aghast.
the Baker
Dan picks out one of the coins and examines it. The thick width and rough stamping smoothed out over the years. Rotating it in his fingers it catches the light, a dull and heavy yellow. "Wonder if this is ancient? From the Maztecian peoples of the Central Continentals?" He leans over towards Getika and shows her the coin; "Is this from your people?" he says softly. Althoough he also shifts position slightly to allow Tina to look, with a soft murmur to both. "Although I wonder if Clarence stumbled on hoard of t' coins? Ms Baker, has he tried to pass any in your shop?" The baker asks the lady.
the Baker
"Thadius, do you think it was a payment for services received. Old Clarences land is in a right spot near the road, possibly bootlegger territory." Dan says in his spot between the two ladies; "Miss Clara did you see owt on t' roads?" "Or maybe it's old War gold, I done 'eard me summat about an old wagon wi' some in." he adds, slightly ignoring Hamish as he cannot reassure him.
the Baker
"As much as I'd like a bloodless night, I'm not sure it'd happen." Dan says sadly; "They are vicious and cruel, taking our friends from us. We need Hamish's information." "Now we don't want to have both protectors' guarding him, especially since his identity is not confirmed and the Mafia know this strategy." Furrowing his brow he thinks of the best way. "Maybe if the man or woman, with the later or earlier alphabetical name protects him." "Basically, plainly speaking, we decide that either Clara or Tina wouldn't protect him?" the baker wonders.
the Baker
Dan looks from the dead bodies to the rest of the group. 'So half of who's left are Mafia' he half mumbles. "True Hamish, we have to lynch someone. Whilst at the same time ensure we don't make another mistake." Dan concludes sadly. "Though if we get lucky, the vigilante's can protect us still."
